This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 1.2 mi from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. All rooms at die Wohngemeinschaft Cologne are individually decorated on a unique theme. As rooms are randomly assigned per room category, please send us a message for a specific room request. Rooms feature parquet floors and views of Cologne, while shared bathroom facilities are located in the hallway. The café on the ground floor serves snacks, coffee and wonderful pastries. In the evenings, it is transformed into a popular bar with live DJs. A separate room is used as a theater and venue for cultural events. Guests can also play table tennis or hang out in one of the individually designed rooms. The common lounge is open 24/7 and is decorated in a classic 1950s style. Free coffee and tea are provided, as well as DVDs and books. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft is a 2-minute walk from Moltkestraße Underground Station and a 4-minute walk from Rudolfplatz Underground Station. Cologne Main Station can be reached in under 30 minutes on foot.

The room was very nice, confortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very easy to reach with the public transportation and there are many restaurants around it.

Roommates. They continuously disturbed me by opening my curtains, making noise at 1:30am and threw tampons on my bed.

The female room was spacious and comfortable, it has a double bed and courtains which made a lot of difference. There's a full kitchen and very organized. Also a lovely share space and good wifi for working. Good money for value overall
The kitchen is open only from 8am-8h30pm, you might need to consider that on your plans but it was no problem for me

Love the themed rooms and large beds. Also that each bed has a curtain, shelf, lamp, and electrical socket. Sheets and towel are also soft. Complimentary towel and locker. Dehumidifier in the room is a nice bonus. Very clean and organized bathroom and kitchen. Appreciated the complimentary drinks in the kitchen. Bar was also nice and had outdoor seating. Luggage storage possible. Felt safe. Location is great. Staff is very kind. Best hostel I've stayed in so far. Would gladly come again and recommend it to others :)
Pillow was very lumpy and could use an upgrade. Most rooms face the street so it can be too loud to keep the window open overnight.

Helpful staff and cosy living room as a common area. Room designs are quite creative.
Can be loud at times and there are certainly busy hours for the shared bathrooms. That’s what you sign up for so it is not really anything to complain about. Just be aware of this :)

Rooms are so funny and cute and very spacious (I stayed in a two bed room). Bathrooms clean and comfortable shower is kinda small but not a big deal at all. Super clean and felt very safe. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is really convenient it’s like a 20 minute walk to the cathedral and next to cute bars and resteraunts. Would highly recommend this place

The staff here are so friendly and everything has been prepared so beautifully. You can tell there is a whole ethos of just making people feel at home. There's free coffee and tea all day long.
What drinks should be be paid for and which ones are free could be a little clearer. The location (outside) is quite noisy.

Kind staffs and fairly clean for me as a man. Also, two shower booth was clean as well as toilets. Room was quite and others were ok. very quite. I loved it.
Not bad location, you can pretty much access sites ( mostly you go to the cologne cathedral I'd say ). Bit hot in the room during the August, which was the most hot weather it was while my stay.

The dorm had a double sized bed and I didn't have to deal with the bedding. Privacy curtains were much appreciated too. A modern look! The showers had good pressure, water and coffee available in the common area and a free beer on arrival at the bar. Lots of good things!
I wish the bunk had its own fan because it was extremely hot in the summer month and one fan per room didn't help top bunkers.
