This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 1.2 mi from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. All rooms at die Wohngemeinschaft Cologne are individually decorated on a unique theme. As rooms are randomly assigned per room category, please send us a message for a specific room request. Rooms feature parquet floors and views of Cologne, while shared bathroom facilities are located in the hallway. The café on the ground floor serves snacks, coffee and wonderful pastries. In the evenings, it is transformed into a popular bar with live DJs. A separate room is used as a theater and venue for cultural events. Guests can also play table tennis or hang out in one of the individually designed rooms. The common lounge is open 24/7 and is decorated in a classic 1950s style. Free coffee and tea are provided, as well as DVDs and books. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft is a 2-minute walk from Moltkestraße Underground Station and a 4-minute walk from Rudolfplatz Underground Station. Cologne Main Station can be reached in under 30 minutes on foot.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The bathrooms, though shared, were very clean and pleasant to use. Bit expensive for just the sleep. The bar downstairs was fun. The location is perfect to explore the christmas markets!

One of the most unique hostel/hotel places we've been to. Each room has a theme, and you can choose which room you'd like to be in (provided it's available). There was a common kitchen area with games, free tea & coffee with a really nice atmosphere to meet other people, eat, or just simply chill. Bathrooms are shared (outside of rooms), however they are super clean and modern, and felt comfortable. There's a bar downstairs where you can get a 10% discount if you're staying here. Staff were nice and friendly as well. Would stay again.
Shared bathrooms might not suit everyone, however they were clean and modern. Only thing would be it might get a bit busy in the morning - however, during our stay we didn't have to wait for anyone.

The location is very good and you can get to the station very quickly.
I found everything to be excellent, the staff efficient and serviceable. I especially commend the cleanliness and hygiene of the bathrooms, and the showers were just as clean and regularly cleaned by someone every day.

Cleanliness was good, breakfast amazing,the room was cozy, energy plug beside the bed is a plus,,, low light beside the bed is nice,there was a bathroom with a bathtub which is not comom to see in hostels, i loved it to be able to relax in the thun,there was a bar on the ground floor nice thing to have in a hostel,,, tram line is realy close, many options of restaurant around!!!
The duvet was super small, i asked for a second one and it was gave to me,or my foot was uncover or my arms,,,the decoration of the room was nice , i was in tom room, but the bed did a lot of noise everytime i moved in the bed waking me up several times during the night!! Pillow was super bad asweel, i know that slim pilows are better to clean and for this reason might be just one in the room, but might be considered to have a second one.

Hostel close to the main train station almost 20 minutes also you can take for your tea hot water and coffee . They were very helpful in entering and exiting the hostel late at night.
