This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 1.2 mi from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. All rooms at die Wohngemeinschaft Cologne are individually decorated on a unique theme. As rooms are randomly assigned per room category, please send us a message for a specific room request. Rooms feature parquet floors and views of Cologne, while shared bathroom facilities are located in the hallway. The café on the ground floor serves snacks, coffee and wonderful pastries. In the evenings, it is transformed into a popular bar with live DJs. A separate room is used as a theater and venue for cultural events. Guests can also play table tennis or hang out in one of the individually designed rooms. The common lounge is open 24/7 and is decorated in a classic 1950s style. Free coffee and tea are provided, as well as DVDs and books. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft is a 2-minute walk from Moltkestraße Underground Station and a 4-minute walk from Rudolfplatz Underground Station. Cologne Main Station can be reached in under 30 minutes on foot.

Everything was perfect to be honest. Value for money, 20 mins walking distance from HBF, helpful staffs and smooth check-in. Even free welcome drink. Very clean and modern facilities.

The location was really good, not so close to the cathedral, but in a nice part of the city. And everyone was friendly.
My bus was only late in the evening, it would be nice if the shared room would be more accessible.

Unfortunately we shared room with a guest who opened up the door the whole night and made a lot of noise after 10 pm She opened up the windows and all the coldness entered We didn’t have a pleasant time because of her We couldn’t sleep so well and we need to leave at 5 in the morning

We really liked how cozy and private the room is. For a couple, it is the perfect size! Staff also gave us tokens for drinks at the bar, but we didn't use those. Still super nice that they offered them! I also forgot some clothes when we left, and they were nice enough to retrieve them and send them back!
It was likely just a miscommunication, but we had ordered a breakfast for the next morning, and they sent it up to the wrong floor. Fortunately, we didn't get charged for it.

The bed is spacious and clean, and you need to use the room card to enter the elevator and the room and use the locker. It's very safe. Also have a free glass of beer or lemonade when check-in. The environment of the hostel is also very clean. The sound insulation is very good. The reception staffs are very friendly.
