The team were so friendly and helpful, the location was great. I was a little concerned it was situated too far out form the city centre having never been to Cologne before, but it was only a 20 minute flat walk that flew by with all the sights to see and only 5 minutes from the Ubahn or bus stops to use the frequent, reliable public transport. I stayed an extra 2 days in Cologne for personal activities after I finished the business trip- I wish I had booked to stay at the same hotel and not more central.
Only slight ciriticism would be a wider choice on the hot breakfast buffet - mushrooms, tomatoes or similar.

I always write reviews but this is different. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. We all expect a standard of course, but it is only when we need help do we really appreciate and value the people at a hotel. The hotel itself was a church and maintains the stained windows Nadins beautiful. However, for first time in my life, I left my phone in the taxi. Extremely stressful hour as it turned out, but was made better and easier with the help of Suzanna , Nik and Christophe! All was sorted but I cannot write/explain enough , the thanks and appreciation I have for them. I go to Cologne every year to FIBO, always changing the hotel to see different areas. Next April I will be back here if not before because when you receive and see wonderful, helpful people like this, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you and God Bless!

The location is fantastic and the fact that an old monastery was remodelled into a nice hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpful
The hotel itself still seems in decent condition, some things just have to be replaced any time soon, like the TV (super old version, I wasn‘t able to watch some channels because the TV was too old, e.g. ARD/ZDF, all 3. Programme). The design often looked nice but was very unpractical (shower in my room, glass plate was way too small, I flooded the bathroom every time I showered, and a design object placed right above the bed looked nice but took a lot of (storage) place.
