The hotel is quite lovely and the old building was stylish renovated. Nice area at 20/25 min walking from downtown. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was super complete in a gorgeous jardín
No AC on my floor. I was during the heat wave so the fan was not enough unfortunately

The staff was helpful and made sure we had what we needed. They have refillable glass bottles for as much water as you want. The hotel was close to Cathedral, choc museum and old town also the boardwalk along the Rhine river. Definitely would stay again.

This hotel was very conveniently located for visiting family, shopping and taking in historical sites. The breakfast hall, library, lounge with fish tank and garden provided such wonderful added amenities. The room was designed with interesting artistic and architectural features. We enjoyed our stay very much.
There was one lamp on one side of the bed. Another lamp on the other side of the bed would be great.

The location is fantastic and the fact that an old monastery was remodelled into a nice hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpful
The hotel itself still seems in decent condition, some things just have to be replaced any time soon, like the TV (super old version, I wasn‘t able to watch some channels because the TV was too old, e.g. ARD/ZDF, all 3. Programme). The design often looked nice but was very unpractical (shower in my room, glass plate was way too small, I flooded the bathroom every time I showered, and a design object placed right above the bed looked nice but took a lot of (storage) place.

It’s not a hotel , it’s some kind of concept idea that has a certain value
Because it operates as a concept hotel , it forgets to be a hotel . The creators are in love with their concept but forget about what is good for the guests . Example , there is no drinking water in the room but there are two empty bottles that the guest has to go and fill up themselves in the lobby … imagine you are ready for bed and need a sip of water … put back your clothes on and go to the lobby ? Why not fill up the bottles for the guests before rhey arrive ?

Your staff are super friendly and helpful.
The lady, Valenia (I hope I spelled it right) in the kitchen is super courteous and she runs everything efficiently and keeps the place clean.
All the front desk staff are great - kind and patient. A shout out to Andrés and the lady (whose name I cannot recall) who works night. Andrés assisted with getting a doctor's appointment.
The breakfast is amazing with a wide selections.
Location is convenient is quiet and safe to walk at night as well as close proximity to public transportation.
The gym - dark and scary. Feels like in a dungeon!
Perhaps relocate it to where we look out at the garden.

The staff was great. Friendly and professional. Breakfast had a good variety.
1. The breakfast area was too small. No small tables tables set up for 8 persons.
2. Breakfast staff very friendly but not able to keep the food refilled. Always wait time for certain items.
3. No where to hang anything in the bathroom. No hooks nothing.
4. No shower curtain or door with the bathtub.
5. TV position beside the bed, and not at the end of the bed. Difficult to watch TV from the bed.
6. No possibility to stop in front of the hotel to unload bags. Had to walk half a km to park the car. This should be mention.
7. No WIFI on the 4th floor.
8. Only a few TV channels.
9 . Over priced for you are offered.

On my latest trip to Cologne I was staying for a total of two weeks in and around the Cologne area. I picked this hotel due to it's proximity to the University and it looked cool from the photos. The rooms and general vibe was very artsy and quirky, which I like. The breakfast was wonderful and the hotel was quiet. Very pretty place.
Everything was very nice, the only thing lacking, and most people won't really care, was the 'fitness room' was an elliptical machine and a single cable machine. I would have liked a few dumbbells and maybe a cushioned yoga mat for stretching and floor exercises.

The staff was really nice and the location was suitable for my concert visit. The hallway is pretty. The hotel felt safe for Solo traveling.
It was really expensive for what it was. My room had a weird smell and on a table was a used water bottle which made me think the room was not cleaned well. The room i had had no personality It was blain and boring.

The facilities are very good, the building itself. The room had everything you would need for a short stay. The room was on the side of the garden and it was very quiet, despite the fact that it is located in an area with plenty of restaurants. I stayed here for one night since I was going to a show at the Comedia theater, the theater is less than 10 min walk. The area has restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and pharmacies.
