We were travelling by train on the Rhine line but our train was delayed which meant we could not complete our planned journey. Hence we booked one night at this hotel. It was chosen primarily for proximity to the railway station. We found the hotel very easily, were checked in quickly and were given a comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Staff were all excellent.
It was a hot night, there was no air con in the room and being in the middle of a city it was noisy with windows open.

The location is the strongest point of this hotel. The bathroom was extremely clean, the sheets and towels smelled great. The breakfast is very complete and the staff is friendly. They let us put our luggage in the safe for a whole day, before check-in and after check-out. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared because the noise from the trains and subway doesn't stop (but you can't complain about that since you're making a reservation knowing the hotel is next to the station). The hairdryer is very powerful and there are specific outlets for charging cell phones. The bathroom also has shampoo/soap in case you forget.

Conveniently located right next to the train station and Cologne Cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful, we received a kettle on request and were able to store our luggage after check-out. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Spotlessly clean 10/10. Great location for an overnight stay if coming from trains.
Was quite warm so i asked staff for a fan which they gave me. No kettle in room ao once again staff supplied me with one.
