Brilliant location and matches photos. Staff are friendly. Perfect for a short stay when catching a train.
Room was very hot (on a mild day) with no ability to adjust the temperature. We had to open the window to noisy traffic below for an hour to get in some cool air but it heated up again overnight.

Staff is nice and the location is very convenient
The room was very warm and it doesn't have a way to control temperature. Also alot of noise from the outside, even with the windows closed.

Everything besides the smell from the toilet was excellent.
Strange smell from the bathroom (room 111). The texture of the bedding was a little bit itchy.

We stayed for two nights and we were absolutely delighted when we were offered the corner room, which has on one side the little view of the river and on the other was the breathtaking-majestic Köln Cathedral. The hotel is right next to the train station, which has a lot of bakeries, cafes and supermarkets to buy snacks, water and drinks to go while starting our journey. Also, the bus stop is right below the hotel which gave us a lot of freedom in moving around the city. The hotel is clean and tidy, and amazingly the housekeeping happened on both the days which we liked. Beds were comfortable and the room was of ample size. The washroom was clean too! Though the hotel is just close to the bus stop and just next to the railway station, one must expect a bit of noise. But for us, the view made us forget it all!

The sauna was out of order. But that the only negative, it’s a perfect location the room was lean and comfortable with a decent size shower and bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

The staff were great - efficient and very friendly.
Breakfast was included in the room rate. We did not have time for breakfast in the hotel. We feel that there should be a choice to have a lower rate if guests cannot spare the time for hotel breakfast.
