The history of the buildings was fascinating, I loved the architecture, especially the breakfast room, it was quite unique and nicely appointed, the inner brick courtyard reminded me of my trips to Scotland
I really wasn't impressed with the furnishings in the rooms we were in, they both were in need of a refresh, furniture and curtains looked worn & outdated. The rooms were really stuffy during the night, didn't appear that the thermostat did anything to change the temp one way or the other, we opened the window for awhile, but it wasn't feasible to leave it open all night as it was a full length window

Nice location in a historical farm building (convenient for business near Rheinland industrial area), walking distance to some restaurants (tip: Suerther Bootshaus), large room and proper breakfast.
It was raining so to get to the restaurant for breakfast via the inner square (no possibility to get there via another route) it was unavoidable to get wet ;-)

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are big and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff from reception very polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The lady from breakfast, Gina, was so nice with us. Helped us with all the information we needed, lovely lady ( thank you, Gina).

Beautiful old style courtyard, nicely modernised rooms, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, 2 minutes walk to regular train to Köln city centre.

Quiet location 5 minutes walk to the river promenade and 3 minutes from the stop of tram carrying you to Cologne downtown. Very nice traditional property with a family if duckies living in the yard.
Room was not clean, had to ask for cleaning. Toilet was not well maintained. Omelette at breakfast was not edible. Receptionist hides from guests in the back room, behaves as she is invisible. Well, the less service, the less guests.

Lovely hotel, room was quite big too! Breakfast included in the price In a nice quiet neighbourhood but right next to the train stop, so it was easy for us to get into the city every day. Didn’t get to eat in the restaurant but heard it was very good and the outside garden area is very pretty
No bars within walking distance so just expect the quiet neighbourhood Breakfast was delicious but was the same every day would be nice to have a few different cooked foods each day.

Stayed here while Scotland were in town. Amazing place, beautiful converted old building with loads of character. Lovely helpful staff and a huge room. Would highly recommend!

It is an authentic German hotel with a fantastic breakfast. The location is outside of cologne, which is good if you want to escape the hectic city filled with homeless people. However, though it is outside the city, the tram number 16 basically goes directly to the hotel, so its an easy 30 minute tram ride into the city.
The table next to my bed was sticky when I got there which was strange. I also found it to be a bit too pricey for the location and furnishing.
