Room was spacious and bathroom was the biggest I’ve encountered in Cologne hotels. Breakfast was good too.
Next to a construction site but i was informed about this so really nothing to complain about.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Cologne. We could see the cathedral outside of our window. The room was very spacious and the bed and bathroom very comfortable. Also the breakfast was very good. Best was that the Frueh Pub is right next to the Hotel, so we could enjoy the very good Frueh Koelsch and a good meal without having to walk far.
There was nothing not to like, it was perhaps a bit more pricy than what one would usually pay for this category, but then the location was so good that we did not mind it too much.

Amazing location, super friendly staff, very good breakfast and cute store!
Not about the hotel itself, but I had the worst experience trying to have dinner for one person at the beer restaurant, which is technically is under the same name and building. It was pretty hectic around Christmas time, a lot of people around, so I had to ask front desk to assist me with the reservation. Very kind lady at the front desk called the restaurant, only to find out that they don’t do reservations for one person. I had to buy food elsewhere and buy bottled Fruh (it’s their house brand I wanted to try fresh from the tap in brewery). It would’ve been a nice nod to your guests to provide a priority booking for your guests at your own restaurant (even for single travelers as myself).
