Excellent location by the cathedral and within walking distance of the station. Simple but clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Pillows were very soft. It would have been better to have 2 each.

Clean and very comfortable.
Some staff came across very stern. When asked for oat milk to be warmed up they refused and said they did not have the facilities but they did it the day before. There was a more mature gentleman who was in charge of breakfast who was very unhelpful and refused any requests like the milk or deviation of what he was prepared to do. It was a shame no as would recommend the hotel and don’t take it personally we laughed it off. Cologne is a wonderful place to visit and would stay at the hotel again.

The location was excellent, we were in Cologne for the Christmas markets and could easily walk to them all, with the Dom market being just a few steps away. The room was big and very clean.
Tea, coffee making facilities in the room would be a big improvement. There is a free machine in reception but it isn’t always convenient to go there.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s very close to The Dom and the old town.
The rooms are big and the breakfast was lovely…lots of choice. The adjoining Fruh brahaus was also a great place to go for some traditional German food.
The hotel is located next door to a construction site and the work starts early every day - 7am (except on Sunday). There is therefore a lot of noise from very early in the morning.

Convenient to cathedral and christmas markets, hotel was great, restaurant downstairs was good, shop is nice, lighted tree was a nice touch.. We could see cathedral and christmas market from out room.

Located right at the Centre, just a step or two from the beautiful cathedral, the hotel offers a quiet and cosy place to stay. The bathroom was modern, the bed comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room. Wonderful breakfast.

The I stayed at Eden Hotel Früh am Dom from 16–21 November and absolutely loved the location. Being just steps away from the cathedral and the city center made my stay exceptional. The hotel is perfectly placed for both sightseeing and enjoying Cologne.
I enjoyed my stay, but the breakfast variety was a bit limited and didn’t change much from day to day. I also noticed an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that couldn’t be resolved during my stay. Aside from these small issues, the team was always kind and helpful.
