Comfortable, spacious twin room. Bathroom with large shower and bath. All very clean.
Buffet breakfast also of a high standard with plenty of choice. Could not fault this hotel and would certainly recommend.

The hotel is ideally based in the centre of Cologne. Handy for shops, Christmas markets.
The Superior corner room was a good size.
Has a good bar which is busy at weekends.
We used to stay here when it was the IHG and there is a bit of slip in standards. Housekeeping every second day and you had to request fresh towels if required. One thing that did disappoint were the bath towels. Not the usual bath sheet size which you get staying in same hotel quality elsewhere. They were pretty small and of poor quality.

A good selection of items in the breakfast buffet.
The bed was very comfortable.
A good size bath to relax in.
Easy check in and out.
The room was warmer than we like and we couldn’t reduce the thermostat to less than 19 degrees. The room must have been always warmer as the heating did not come on.
The window opened a tiny bit to allow a bit of cooling.

Good location, close to Heumarkt for tram stops, bars, restaurants and the Christmas Market. Good choice at breakfast.
Temperature control in room didn't seem to do much, meaning that room was a bit too warm.
