Big Changes Ahead! From February to October 2026, the hotel will undergo a full guest room transformation, introducing contemporary design and enhanced comfort. Guest rooms, halls, bathrooms, and the fitness area will be refreshed floor by floor. the room is clean and spacious the beds are comfy
coffee machine was very dirty with the rest of liquid coffee and full capsules on the reservoir. We had to clean it ourselves. We reported it to the reception, there were only excuses. free toiletries(shower cap,...) are not available on bathroom, we had to go ask for them in reception, there were none available. parking space is limited, easily getting full.

The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast and were attentive and professional. Nice shampoo, conditioner, hand was in the room. The location was great for the the central train station and 10 - 15 mins walk from most of the main tourist, dining, bar areas and amazing Christmas Markets.
The cleaner came to the room every day but the whole 4 days of our stay our coffee, sugar and creamer were not topped up at all. After 2 days we informed reception they were not being restocked (and I heard another guest informing reception of the same thing) and this made no difference. I had to visit reception every day to resupply our coffee etc. Breakfast was great but we found out on our last day there that if we had booked our breakfasts each morning they would have cost 19 Euro and not the 23 Euro we paid. We were not informed of this on check in at the reception desk. On the first morning (Sunday) we did book in as were were informed we had to book in on a weekend. We were still charged the full 23 Euro. We stayed 4 days and had 8 breakfasts in total, all at the full price of 23 Euro. We also had a mix up on check out where they wanted to charge us for another breakfast that we had already paid for. Our friend had the same issue with breakfast charges when she tried to check out (she had also paid already).

Wonderful
What pleased us the most about the hotel was its location. It was 900 meters (about a 15-minute walk) from the Cologne Cathedral and the Central train station. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean.
We didn’t like the dinner. We recommend eating out or just having a snack instead. The bar was enjoyable — you can have a beer there.

The room was large and super comfortable. Everything was in great condition, the staff were helfpul and the food at breatkfast and dinner was lovely. A nice location within walking distance of all the spots we wanted to visit.

EV Charging is a big plus: 2 stations upstairs for international visitors (operated by the competent hotel staff - ask at the reception), many stations downstairs in the parking garage for those with German bank debit cards. Friendly, helpful staff at the reception, the bar as well as during breakfast. The 24/7 self service snack store (pay at reception).
