Our room was too warm and adjusting the thermostat didn’t help. No AC. And our window didn’t open.

Although the reception was helpful, they were resisting not to issue the invoice when I asked. I would like to clarify an important point.
While Booking.com may act as an intermediary for the payment, Marriott, as the service provider, is responsible for issuing the invoice upon request. This is standard practice and necessary for compliance purposes.
In the event of an audit—particularly by a German institution—it is essential to be able to present proper documentation directly from the service provider reflecting the transaction.
I must admit I am surprised by the lack of clarity on this matter, as it is a fundamental requirement, especially for an international hotel chain.

We had a nice room. The breakfast was delicious, the buffet offered a lot of choice. We choose the hotel because of the location. We arrived late at night and wanted to stay near the train station.
Our room was near an installation and there was a humming noise through out the day. Even at night you could hear the noise.

The location was the primary reason the I stayed here. My husband became ill while we were on vacation, and ended up in the hospital just a few blocks from here. It was so convenient to be just a short walk away from there to be with him, as much as needed. The proximity to the train station was also a plus. The staff was also very accommodating when I needed to have some documents printed and some computer assistance. Also, they were understanding of my need to reserve the room for just a few days, then extending a day or 2 at a time, due to the uncertainty of his discharge date.
Breakfast was wonderful!
The bathtub seemed very dangerous to me. It was slippery, with no bath mat or a textured bottom. Also, it was a high step to get in & out; without the grab bar, I would have felt very unsafe, and even with it, it was uncomfortable. The bath faucets were very hard to figure out how to divert the water to the shower head...maybe brief instructions on the vanity would be helpful. Maybe they are common here, but I had never seen anything like them in my home country or other travels.

Very close to the main train station and the cathedral. Our room was very spacious, bigger than anything we’ve experienced in Europe. Shower was awesome, had a very good blow dryer, bed was great and comfortable. Room was warm and cozy, and silent to really rest after a day of lots of walking around. I did not have breakfast there but there are great options close by.
Staff was really nice and welcoming. I was able to leave our luggage prior to check-in and also after check-out as our train was a little bit later.

It was comfortable and very clean
The staff! The front desk reception and bar staff were kind and helpful but there were two gentleman that were Hotel Security I think, they were the nastiest unkind people I came across. I did not have any issues that they needed to address but they were rude and unkind to people every time I passed through the lobby scowling at you and making faces like they were disgusted by everyone and everything.

The location is really nice, you can also see the dom from the windows, and as usual the bedding is really comfortable
However, this happens many times that the room that the hotel gave was not exactly the same as the description from the booking website, which created extra troubles, maybe the hotel and the booking website should have better communication

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. No request was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
Even our special request was handled with genuine care, which truly set the customer service apart and placed this hotel above many others.
The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and offers spacious rooms that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The location is spectacular and the breakfast is really amazing. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. The facilities are really clean and the health club is really good for what you need. It was really packed and completely sold out due to the Christmas season, but the staff handled it so well.
The mattresses are not great. Mine had a dip in the middle of it and was really hard to get a good night's sleep on. During the winter. The rooms can be a little stuffy. But that's all
