The decor and rooms were absolutely stunning! I loved all the velvet features. The bar downstairs was incredibly cute as well. It is also very close to the cathedral!
The shower wasn’t very private.

Lovely hotel at an excellent location to visit Köln. Spacious and very nicely decorated room with comfortable bathroom. Stay was very pleasant

Rooms were very large and had more than enough space for two people. The decor was updated and the location was very central to the cathedral and the Christmas markets. There were plenty of options in the area for food and drinks.
There wasn't a coffee pot or tea kettle in the room. The cost of parking is around 30 euro a day and the only way to pay for parking is with cash at the machine and it didn't take 50 euro bills. The closest ATM is at the train station so plan to have cash on hand with specific bills for the parking.

Location was just right. Not a noisy neigjnorhood
AIRCON was not working since we arrived until we checked out (4D/3N). We were provided an electric fan as solution. ROOM and BATHROOM lack the basics (no slippers, no toiletries) as if it was hurriedly prepared when we arrived. BREAKFAST always the same, everyday.

Close to train station, Rhein river and old town
First: air conditioning was not functioning. It was set up but considered an extra, and they would not consider changing rooms (but they provided a fan on request, which they had to retrieve from the basement and was covered in dust)…without it, room would have been unbearable! Second: awful sewage smell from shower…not really sure what was going on there?! We were in the old part of the hotel, so maybe the newer part would offer a better experience! Staff was pretty friendly, so there’s that.

The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. They upgraded my son and his girfriend’s room and let us check in early. The day clerk was very pleasant.
The air conditioning was out when we checked in and we were not informed. We had someone in our group who was ill, so it was very uncomfortable. They said they would bring a fan and did not. The night clerk was very rude and wouldn’t even serve us at the bar when we sat there for 10 minutes.

It was next to the St Ursula Church. This is a fascinating site, but away from the Cathedral. At least it was quiet. .The nearby Schrekenskammer Restaurant was fantastic.
Prices vary from $150 to $450 for our room depending on when booked. We should have waited.
The woman receptionist was unwelcoming. She and her supervisor discussed in front of us (in German, which we understood) whether to give us a better room or not.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It’s just a few minutes’ walk from both the train and bus stations, and about a 7-minute walk to the cathedral—super convenient for exploring the city. Although the hotel seemed to be undergoing some renovations, it still looked clean and well-kept inside.
Check-in was quick, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We booked the Superior Double Room, which was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having two pillows each. The shower was nice (though the water didn’t get super hot—just warm enough to be comfortable), and we loved the added touch of having bathrobes provided.
The staff was kind enough to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout, which we really appreciated. The desk in the room was also helpful for organizing our things. All in all, a clean, comfortable stay in a great location.
Our room was supposed to include a view of the inner courtyard, but either we didn’t get that view or it just wasn’t much to see—though we did have doors leading directly outside, which was a nice feature.

Location, view, parking, room size, rather good sound isolation.
Heating in room was strange and blow semi cold directly to one side of bed. Max temp possible is 23°C. Floor heating in bathroom was only one smal cube in front of sink, none in toilet or shower, even though there is marble tiles there. There were no socket next to bed at least in my room. In one othere there were. L
Some maintenance small things that personnel repaired after info. Room lighting is rather low. There is no possibility of "day light like" option. Just lower brightness.
Parking rule - if one leaves the garage he/she could not be able to find a spot upon return even though 24h fee is payed. 24h fee is automatic if car was parked after 7 pm. Not really good for business visitors.
Strange labyrinth of elevators and corridors to some parts of hotel.
