Great location, next to the Dom, few minutes walking to the railway station. Room clean, stuffs friendly.
As a 4 star hotel no coffee machine in the room, quite low equipment.
No slippers in the room, asked receptionist, also no
Pillow only one, very thin and low, didn’t sleep comfortably.

In the heart of the city and walking distance to every need.
Small rooms and shelf next to bed. I hit my head in the middle of sleep and hurt so much. What is the logic of making a shelf higher than bed height. Later I realize there is a small pillow just to avoid hitting but why? Revise your shelves, go sue your architect.

Nice big room, maybe because we got a room for wheelchair users (which we are not).
Nice welcome by the professional staff.
Nothing we did not like. Only small thing missing was an enlarging mirror in the bathroom.
Being close to the Dom you can hear the bells at 7.45 am.

Spotlessly clean room, kettle to make a cup of tea in cold winter days, fridge and really very, very friendly staff that did their utmost to help out and to let you feel welcome in the hotel.
The hotel lies very central in the city, near the beautiful Dom (bells on Sunday morning are impressive!) and with shops and restaurants nearby. Mind that on Sunday shops are closed.
The room is very warm, even with AC on max. cooling mode. Windows can be opened and this works, but there is some noise from the street and -in this case- from the Christmas market opposite the hotel. The warm and comfortable down duvet adds to the warmth. The pillow is soft and when you sink into it, it feels like lying on a wooden shelf. This is of course very personal.

City Class Hotel was conveniently located near the Cologne Cathedral the Christmas markets. I appreciated the walkability of the city center. The breakfast buffet was very good and enjoyed watching Bella Bot operate.
The lobby could have been bigger. Sometimes there were not enough chairs if I was waiting for the rest of my party to come downstairs. My room was smaller than I usually experience in the United States.

Beautiful hotel and close to everything. Stays in a room overlooking the Dom. Breakfast was great and very friendly staff. Chose the hotel to be near the Christmas markets but did not know that I would even have a direct view of the markets.

The pillows were flat like the comforter. While we were able to get more, they were not really pillows that could support me sleeping at a more elevated position.

The property is very clean and the staff is amazing. I am so happy we were able to stay at this property on our first trip to Cologne. The staff made us feel totally at home.
The only downside about the property is there are steps leading up to the entrance which could be a problem for accessibility reasons and if you have several pieces of heavy luggage to haul.
