Great location. Clean room. Easy access to the Dom, station, and markets. Walkable and secure.
Tiny bed. Dated interior. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Loud noise from other guests. Rooms are NOT soundproof. Difficult to sleep past other peoples children in nearby rooms who wake with the sun.

Excellent location, just steps from the cathedral. Wholesome, satisfying breakfast included. Comfortable room with air conditioning, and surprisingly quiet (with the windows closed).
One of the four desk staff we interacted with was unfriendly (all the others were great); I gathered it was partly because he was frustrated we didn't speak German, and partly because he was trying to watch a soccer game on his phone. Another minus is the shower was a little difficult to get out of (poor design with drain placed at the narrow, catty-corner exit).

Location was excellent. Easy walk with luggage to and from railroad station. There were 5 people and 5 beds with 2 rooms. Breakfast was good. Very quite for the central location. Air conditioned. Outside patio was enjoyable.

Very close to the train station and Cathedral. Right on a pedestrian shopping street. Included breakfast while not extensive but good.
Noisy in the early morning due to some construction nearby.

Some of the staffs were very helpful. The location of the hotel was the best thing about our stay there.
We did not have a lot of options for the breakfast. The staff did not allow for late check out and wanted us to leave the room at 11 despite the check out being at noon.

Great location. Room was clean, quite small for what I paid, breakfast OK and the staff is very helpful. Bathroom very small with shower cage making difficult to move inside without touching the faucet that could change the water temperature and the toilet next to it and the wall very close.

The location is the only thing worth mentioning here if you are willing to accept poor treatment from staff.
I booked a one-night stay at this hotel and had an incredibly disappointing experience due to the unprofessional and outright rude behavior of the front desk staff. Unfortunately, despite reaching out through Booking.com and the hotel's website, management has not responded to my concerns, which only adds to my frustration.When I arrived for check-in, the receptionist did not greet me or acknowledge me in any way. I told him, "Ich habe eine Reservierung," and he simply stared at me with an irritated expression. I then provided my last name, at which point he silently printed out my reservation and handed it to me without a single word of explanation.Since the form was in German and I am not fluent, I asked what I needed to do. He still provided no instructions. My boyfriend, who speaks German, tried to help, and after some back-and-forth, I completed the form as best as I could. The receptionist then glanced at my form, looked back at me as if I were stupid, and simply barked ‘Address, Geburtstag’ instead of politely explaining what was missing. But the most shocking and unacceptable part was that after I finally completed the form, he looked at me and started slow clapping in a mocking and demeaning way. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a hotel staff member. After that, he mentioned breakfast but provided no further details—no explanation about how to get to the room, no information about check-out, nothing. The entire interaction was unfriendly, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. I was left in shock by this treatment. If I hadn’t been exhausted and unwell, I would have asked to see the manager immediately. Instead, I decided to report the issue later. However, despite multiple messages through Booking.com and the hotel’s own website, no one from management has responded to address this unacceptable behavior. This experience completely ruined my stay and left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

The location was amazing…only a stones throw from the Cathedral. Easy walk to several Christmas markets. Nice breakfast..truly continental. Simple but delicious and adequate.
Rooms rather small, but accept that’s the norm for city hotels. Again, what seems to be the norm…no facilities for making yourself a hot drink,and also nowhere to sit and relax.
