Location was very central, around the corner from the Cathedral and short walk to the Rhine river, which is why we picked it.
Hotel ws simply not up to the description on your booking-site. Very old and narrow. Breakfast room felt like in a hostel more than a hotel. Hotel hasn´t been renovated / upgraded for a long time. Everything feels really dated. Room & Bathroom super small.

The location was perferct close to the everywhere. Breakfast was very good, all food was fresh. We had a bigger room than expected and the noise outside couldn't be heard
We had a balcony but we couldn't go outside as we only had a window. Other than that all was perfect.

Tiny bed. Dated interior. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Loud noise from other guests. Rooms are NOT soundproof. Difficult to sleep past other peoples children in nearby rooms who wake with the sun.

The location was excellent! Easy 7 mins walk from Koln HBF. Its barely a minute from the Koln Cathedral. The street is a shopping street, lively and very vibrant. It felt safe. The room was clean and adequate. Was a basic room, but had the amenities we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast was basic, but good enough to grab a tea/coffee and croissant/bun. No hot items at the breakfast. They are happy to store bags, and we asked for an extra hour late check-out, which they agreed to without issues.
The breakfast could be slightly better, but was adequate.

In the middle of the centre. Room is clean. Breakfast is good and fresh.
The hotelrooms are very old and very noisy from the above rooms. Moving chairs 1 level higher it was crazy. Very disturbing in the evening and in the early morning. A simple Solution woult be furniture pads. But hey that is me !

Excellent location, short walk to the station and the cathedral. Our room was perfect for 3 people, plenty of space , even a separate bedroom. Breakfast was good.
To access the hotel you had to ring a doorbell, this is ok if someone is sat at reception and can see you at the door but if not you may have to wait quite a while until someone comes to let you in.
