Locations, the owner very good
The room cold, too small bathroom no kettle, coffee , tea .elevator was broken that time but good thing the owner help us to carry the luggage up to our rooms.

Hotel room was on top floor and we weren’t informed in advance that the lift was broken. Plus cleanliness of the bathroom was poor.

No working elevator! Had to carry my luggage up the stairs, many stairs. Did not have a heads up about this. Was not clear on where to park so ended up in an expensive garage.

Room was clinical. It wasn’t very warm due to wooden floor and marble window ledge. The view from the room was apartment balconies /flats. The beds and bedding were good. The cold water tap in the bathroom was only a dribble. The breakfast was very good as were the staff. The receptionist wasn’t too welcoming as she continued a conversation with a workman as we were checking in. Also the lift wasn’t working so had to carry heavy case and bags up several flights of stairs . We were on a Xmas markets rail trip from Stuttgart, Mainz, koblenz then cologne . This was the dearest hotel but the least pleasant we stayed in. Location was good for us close to river and cathedral.
Was ok but not worth what we paid.

Very warm and welcoming staff. They have to buzz you in for some reason as the door is locked, but they are always available on WhatsApp. It's not modern or new or fancy, but for the price it works. The location is great, a few minutes walk from the hbf and the Rhein river. Check in and out was easy and smooth. There was a smart tv with Netflix and prime video which worked perfectly and i liked it very much. Heating worked well. There are blackout curtains or just sheer ones and also drapes so privacy wasn't an issue. All in all it was a perfectly ok stay for me, especially for the price and location.
The elevator wasn't working for some time now, but it didn't say so in the description of the booking. I got the room at the top floor and had to carry all my luggage up 6-8 flights of stairs. Wasn't ideal... For me it probably wouldn't have been a deal breaker but I guess for older people/people who can't do that many stairs it would. Probably should specify that im the description. There was a sign mentioning a fix being on the way but as of beginning of December still out. There was also a sink in the bedroom, which turned out to be a convenience surprisingly but it did catch me off guard at first, maybe for some that wouldn't be ok, for me it was fine. Also the you had to have 2 keys with you at all times, one for the main entrance and ome for your room. It's less convenient than a card surely, but as i said it's not a modern lodging. All in all it was a perfectly ok stay for me, especially for the price and location.

Staff was quite helpful and sweet. We met one of the lady’s dog Toffie, she was a sweetheart and made our day during our stay in this hotel ❤️

Good location and hotel is very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Language barrier made things a little difficult but we worked together to figure everything out.
Use of keys was a bit old fashioned but not too bothersome.

Location was good, staff was friendly.
The room was poor equipped, beds were not comfortable, the hairdryer was not working, the closet was broken also notified the staff immediatly. Breakfast was poor. Elevator was broken! Our room was on the third floor! For the paid money the service was not equal. I guess the price has to be lower
