So close to the cathedral. Close to the train station. Close to an excellent bakery. 2 fans. 6th floor. Small Elevator went to 5th. Excellent breakfast. Nice people. Good shower

Disappointing
Breakfast was standard continental. Location is very close to Cologne train station and it's easy to find. Staff were friendly.
Decor of hotel is old, dated, and quite stark and unwelcoming. Tiny lift that can only be used by one person. It was a hot night and there is no air con, curtains had not been drawn to keep the heat out and it was boiling. Fans were provided but to little avail.
There was a balcony which could be nice, however there were no chairs to sit on , it was surrounded by ugly concrete blocks and an unemptied ashtray. Not sure how clean it was either.

The gentleman who checked us in had a great sense of humor and spoke English fluently, which helped us feel at home. He gave us a city map and helpful recommendations.

Adequate but nothing to sing about. Close to the Koln station so convenience is its only selling point. Price is quite high but less than others in Koln.
They don't make the beds - you have to do it yourself. No tea or coffee, no kettle or fridge. Decor is dark grey tiles everywhere - it felt like being in a big wet-room waiting to be hosed down. Breakfast is basic buns and cold meat - typical continental. The pictures suggest something better than it is.

Excellent location, right near the main railway station. Good breakfast, fairly basic, but with everything you'd expect from a continental breakfast.
Decor in the rooms is a bit basic, and the beds are a bit soft.

Break was basic but decent. Location was perfect, steps away from the train station. Staff was lovely.
Room was warm and a bit noisy as we had to open the window since it was warm. We had a triple and it was tight. Rooms just need an update and maybe a fan in warmer months.
