Gothic styled hotel in a converted warehouse. Amazing rooms with great features, super stylish. Helpful staff and good basic facilities

the bathrooms and bathtubs
There was construction happening in the quad nearby also the staff was misleading by saying the bar was open when it wasnt. No gym no pool No bar. we had three rooms there and the man working the nightshift attempted to kick us out thinking we all couldnt have been guest. rude

We really love the room. It was so comfortable. It was very nice to welcoming at the hotel with the smile face. The receptionist Yusuf was very kind and help us to figure out the city. I will absolutely comeback here.

The bath and room space
The photos of the rooms on booking.com does not match with the rooms they have now. We booked based on the black marble style. Once checked in we asked about it and apparently they renovated the rooms. Based on this I highly recommend that black hotel updates their pictures because we did not get what we booked... Also the tv didn't have any channels, plus our room was so warm and the ac didn't work so you're sweating through the night. And in the bathroom there was no toilet paper holder? We stayed here before, but this time it was a let down and we won't come back anymore.

The guy behind reception was really polite helpful and efficient. He offered us a complimentary refreshment which was a nice touch. The reception is very trendy, stylish and modern with a great concept in mind.
We decided to stay here as a stop on our road trip, when arriving we was directed to the 'secure carpark' that I can only describe as a dump, skips and bins everywhere not to note there is not a barrier, free for the public to use and no CCTV!! We didn't feel safe leaving our car here however we decided we can find another secure carpark. Once checked in we was allocated a room on the bottom floor... not a problem if the windows were secure! They could be pushed open from the 'secure carpark'. This made us feel really unsafe... The aircon didn't work and just made a loud racket. Our lights were flickering and the TV had burn marks. The problem with this hotel is the idea is there but there is absolutely no up keep what so ever! We decided this hotel was not for us and left the premises and headed for Brussels a day early.

The size of the bed and the design
- It was not clean, there were stains on the wall and there was limescale all over in the bathroom - It was too hot in the room (28 degrees Celcius) and we could not use the airconditioning because it was broken. We couldnt open a window because the room was on the ground floor and the neighbourhood wasnt very welcoming. - It was very noisy
