This unique hotel is located in a building with six floors which was once Europe’s tallest building. The Premier Inn Köln City Mediapark offers spacious rooms. Located on the upper parking floors of the Saturn parking garage with direct access to the hotel. Please note that there is no step-free access from the parking deck to the hotel. Wheelchair users are kindly asked to use the disabled parking space on the ground floor of the car park and enter the hotel via the main entrance. Set in the historic Hansahochhaus high-rise building from 1925, the Premier Inn Köln City Mediapark features many original style elements. The bright rooms include modern furnishings, satellite TV, air conditioning, a desk and private bathroom. The hotel offers great public transport connections by S-Bahn (suburban train) and U-Bahn (underground). It is 1 stop from Cologne Cathedral and Cologne Main Station, and also offers direct links to Cologne/Bonn Airport. Guests enjoy free WiFi.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. A nice hotel for a reasonable price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were good too. There were enough towels provided. The shower water pressure was not very strong, but it was not a major issue. The room also had a desk and a TV, although we did not use the TV.
The hotel building is quite large, but we were not allowed to check in early at 13:00 because they said all the rooms were occupied. It was just a regular weekend, not a holiday period. On the positive side, they gave us access to a luggage storage room where we could leave our bags, which was a big advantage. We could not leave the window open at night because trams were running outside until late, although the room had good ventilation. The only odd thing was that there was only one chair at the table instead of two.

Usual high standard of cleanliness, quiet room (back of hotel) and comfortable bedding I always associate with Premier Inn. Also felt perfectly safe ( a single female traveller )

The person who greeted me was a man, I don't know his name, he was very ugly, had black hair, and spoke English with a Southern European accent. His attitude was extremely rude, as disgusting as his appearance. I hope I never see him again!

Wonderful
Had a lovely big room. The hotel is slightly out of Köln centre but right by Hansaring station, with good connections to the centre. A short walk away was an area with lots of restaurants - German, Italian and Greek. Tourist info in the centre told us about these.
We didn’t see any local “corner” shops nearby but Köln central station had a shop selling milk etc!

Good location for a base ! Train station less than 50meters away! Big rooms , clean , tidy !
The great location next to the train station means train noises nearly all night , but it wasn't bad.
