Wonderful
location was excellent. it was a short 15 mins walk from Koln HB and the Cathedral. Lots of restaurants to eat at along the way. Black out curtains were perfect
Some of the rooms are on the side of a busy road. It wasnt crazy loud but I could hear when bigger vehicles went by.

We loved having a human being to talk to when checking in. They were very busy but they were very good with handling multiple requests from several people. They were very efficient and understood English very well. They offered to keep our luggage as we checked in early. Other great things to note: there is an elevator, there is a kitchen with a large refrigerator, the bathroom shower was large enough, everything was working, they offered us a quiet room facing the courtyard when requested, free wifi, laundry facility on-site, location is walkable to the center (20 mins), all staff is very responsive, offered free coffee, has facility to lounge and eat. There are also restaurants next door for more food options and there is a restaurant on-site.
We couldn't operate the thermostat so it was a little warmer in the room than we expected. The condition of some of the pots were a little scratched (teflon) and the laundry dryer didn't dry our clothes - the machine is too small. The cost was around 6 euros for each machine. But since the room was warmer than usual, our clothes air dried in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. The coffee in reception was free. Staff were able to help with requests to store baggage and check in a little earlier although the hotel fully booked.

The hotel itself is in a good location even though not exactly the city centre but then again it is quieter than if it was right in the city centre ! And the staff was helpful & pleasant too so no issues there, better than some of the hotels I stayed, in terms of cleanliness & facilities etc....
I couldn't seen to adjust the temperature control as it did get a bit too warm at times & I added breakfast for one of the days of my stay & compared to some hotels not too much a selection of their buffet food as I expected but again no big deal, I didn't leave hungry !

The hotel has a great location, but what I liked most was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and having access to water, coffee, and tea 24/7 was a big plus. The apartment was really cute, comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing
Bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower worked fine. The lobby area was comfortable and had good seating and relaxing accommodations. The location was in a good place for where we needed to be in the city.
We rented several rooms. My room was clean, but another family member’s room had obviously not been cleaned. There were hairs in the shower and the sink was dirty. My room had only about 1 foot on either side of the bed, with no seating, and it was difficult to maneuver in the room. I would not stay there again. The room keys kept failing to work and I had to go to the front desk several times to get a new key.

We booked two rooms; they were both spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette. The front desk staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Eddie, who was very knowledgeable and guided us well throughout our stay with local tips. We visited Cologne during the Christmas break and had the chance to experience several of the Christmas villages.

We were able to use the kitchen without setting off the fire alarm, but they give alot of warnings about how sensitive it is and say they will charge 500 euro if it gets set off.

Check in was great. I arrived before 11 a.m. due to my overnight flight from the US and was pleasantly surprised to be able to access my room right away at no extra cost. I expected to just store my bags, but the early access to the room was greatly appreciated. I'm sure that isn't always the case depending on room type and bookings, but it worked out well for me! The common area was often being used by multiple travelers which added to the overall appeal of the place. The kitchen facilities were nice, although a few more plates and utensils would have been nice. There was only one fork even though the studio apartment accommodated two people.
There was a fire alarm set off during my stay, so we all had to evacuate. I'm not sure I would have heard it, had I not been trying to leave at that time and the elevator didn't work. I assume someone set off the fire alarm using their kitchen facilities, since the front desk person had warned me how sensitive they are on check in. Everything was clear by the time I returned from meeting my spouse at the train station, but the fire department had responded with a full crew.
