Property is in a good location. Close to everything and easily accessible via bus, tram, and metro lines. The hotel is well laid out, and the room is a good size. The kitchenette came in handy too.
The room I stayed in could have used some sprucing up. The walls in the kitchen had lots of scratches and chips in the paint. The bed could also have been more comfortable and had better pillows.

Location near the old town of Köln.
Extremely slow check-in, air conditioning not working, dirty kitchenette, a bug in the bathroom, unprofessional staff, all-in-all a bad experience. Not recommended.

The staff, especially Clay, were awesome. Free coffee 24/7 was a bonus. The air conditioning was so awesome on a day when it was 39C. It was a 450 meter walk to the subway station. Lots of restaurants around and a supermarket right around the corner.

Location is good, can accommodate up to 3 people well enough. I though the kitchen was decent enough, as well as the bathroom and shower. Happy that the room service was optional.
No proper climate controls in the apartment so it was always a lot warmer in the apartment than it was outside, the only thing we could control was the air rate from the system. The HVAC system was constantly venting warm air into the rooms which is not what you want in the midst of a heatwave. The staff explained that this was how the building was designed and nothing could be done about it. All in all it was incredibly uncomfortable sleep for us.

Only one comfy chair. Needs two, or a small settee.
Breakfast expensive at €23pp, but can make own in room.
Had to sign a disclaimer about settling off smoke alarm when cooking, but alarm situated directly above cooker, so reluctant to use.
