Near the Koln HBf, good breakfast, helpful staff
Heater was ineffective, room was cold throughout the night. Water heater provided warm water for only a few seconds and then cold water poured out. Rm 29. No lift or elevator, this is tough when you have heavy luggages. No curtains on one of the windows so the bright lights of the Musical Dome entered the room and made sleeping difficult.

The staff was really nice! He gave us a bigger room than the expected. Overall it was clean, the breakfast was nice and the attention qas really good. It is also in a really good location, very close to the central station and near all the must-visit places.

1) The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful.
2) The room is spacious and clean.
3) A lot of useful utitlities in the hotel. E.g. still/sparkly/hot water, coffee which are all complimentary. There's also an ATM and a few vending machines inside of the hotel.
4) The location of the hotel is also very good. ~6 mins walking distance to Cologne Cathedral, the commercial area and the railway station Cologne Central.
5) Sufficient sockets for plugging and charging.
It's very good value for money consider the room price is not very high.
1) The rooms are close to railway trail so there can be noise in the evening. It may bother someone who's sensative to sound. Personally I and my parents were totally okay with it.

Location to the train station is great.
The train runs directly behind the hotel and there is a park on the other side that was noisy until well after midnight. Earplugs are recommended!

Big room, fresh and modern. Great check in/out system. Close to the train station and the cathedral.
Slightly disappointed the bathroom didn’t have a bathtub as shown in the pictures but not too big of an issue. Also the TV wasn’t smart and was of course in German which was also disappointing.

Although a cheap hotel (unless it is festival time), it has always been welcoming, well situated for beer breweries and train station, clean and comfortable. Breakfast doesn't cost as much as other hotels and is filling. We try to stay here every time wecome to Cologne.

In the morning a little noisy from the construction next to our room but the double glasser windows help for it.
