This apartment is amazing and the outdoor area is immaculate! The host was outstanding, friendly, and very attentive. I would come here again and again. This apartment is on a steeply sloped road, so be prepared for that hike. We did not find it to be a deterrent, though, and the apartment has a parking stall for those staying in an apartment. My family loved everything about our stay.

Location was perfect! The backyard had the most amazing views of the castle and vinyards, and had several lovely little areas to sit with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. We had 4 adults and booked two suites side-by-side. Each came with a full bathroom and small kitchenette counter with coffeemaker and refrigerator. The hostess was very helpful with driving instructions and recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Although the road is busy during the day with tourists hiking up to the castle and students on their way to the nearby, it was mostly very peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay.
The house is on a steep narrow road. We walked to and from the village, and left our car parked at the house. But the first time you drive to the property is very tricky, because Google maps had us driving through a pedestrian-only zone (do not turn onto Pater-Martin Strasse!). The hostess directed me to go from the 49 (the main street that runs parallel to the river) up Zollstrasse, turn left on Schlossstrasse, and then continue up the hill to the property. However, if you encounter a vehicle coming down, you must give them the right-of-way and reverse downhill. Once you get to the house, there is ample parking, With further study, we found another route going up and around which avoids the crowded tiny streets of Cochem.

The Weinburg Ferienhaus is located right next to the Cochem Castle vineyard and offers a beautiful view of the castle. There is also a lovely garden to enjoy. A very beautiful location and excellent accommodation in Cochem! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing location with stunning views and garden. We had the superior apartment with all the facilities that we needed. We liked the terrace a lot to the apartment enjoying the evening sun. Bed is super comfortable and they also provided crib for our baby. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bridge as well. Communication was smooth with the owner. Free parking onsite. Definitely we will come back again as made our visit to Cochem even nicer.

It is very close to the Castle and shopping Center. Parking is available onsite. Nice garden with castle view.
There is no exhaust fan to ventilate the bathroom. Opening window is not enough to ventilate the bathroom. We felt that the pillow is not comfortable.

Everything was fabulous! It was very, very cosy as well as clean and well-equipped and even had lovely surroundings in the form of a carefully planned garden as well as a private balcony to our apartment. We were particularly pleased to see that the household had lovely wine glasses as well as champagne glasses along with all possible commodities for running a house for the duration of our stay.
Antje is fabulous too! Very kind and welcoming and very determined to deliver top-notch service and hospitality to her guests. We felt very welcome and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this location to other people!

the host has literally thought of everything. I have never stayed in a nicer apartment. exceptionally clean and modern.

The hill to get to the property was very steep and seemed to go on forever but after a few climbs, i became used to it. . It did help to work off the calories from the wine festival though.

Spacious, clean and tidy, fantastic garden with views of the castle and river, great location right near the castle and very close to the centre. Friendly, helpful owner. Parking right outside. Cochem is a lively tourist town and very pretty, lots to do in the area especially if you like walking.
As mentioned by others, be aware the property is up a steep narrow road.

Absolutely stunning view of vineyards and the castle. Amazingly beautiful and well maintained outdoor area where we ate most of our home cooked meals. Antje was lovely, as were the other locals we met. Wine just 100m down the road was fantastic and the bikes and river cruise were well worth it.
Not much, its pretty fantastic!!! A suggestion would be to have a small shared bbq in the garden.

The apartment is one of several in the house, our room opened onto a patio, as we had superb weather, we ate out there. The room was very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. It kept cool despite the heat outside. The owner has designed a fabulous garden which anyone can use. There is lots of seating and tables, it creates a real feeling of comfort. Everything is tastefully done. There is salt / pepper and tea/coffee and sugar provided. There isn't a microwave.
The setting is breathtaking, the apartment is on the cobbled narrow road leading up to the castle. It is a steep climb, people stop to admire the property, and get their breath back! You look out onto vines opposite and a castle at the top of the hill.
When we arrived, travelling by train, we hadn't expected the steep climb up to the apartment. Once we were settled in it was fine. Most people travel by car and there's plenty of parking. There are no supermarkets in Cochem, Aldi and Rewe are over 1 mile away
We did manage to get milk from a vending machine along the next street.
