very friendly welcome, budget room was very comfortable with an unexpected and splendid view of Cochem castle. Loads of space and plenty heat to dry our wet gear. Easy walk to centre and castle. Great breakfast.

Brief stopover, so didnt get to see a huge amount of the stunning surrounding area. Great location, parking available. Nice clean rooms, good value

The owner is friendly, the room is clean, and the bed and breakfast are good. Free parking space.
There are only two things: they don't have soap in the bathroom, and you can't check in after 21:00

A good, quiet, clean room with cooking facility.
Needs to pay cash for the stay which is unconventional since now days travelers don't normally carry alot of cash. Even charging a few extra % for the credit card is better than paying in cash.

Location was walking distance into town for walk about and dinner. Walking down the street, beside the river was incredible. Host and hostess were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was more than adequate!! Will stay here whenever I am back in the area! Pension Schneider deserves 10 stars or a platinum rating!
Tv would not go into tv mode. Seemed to have been set to a computer or to a game?? No big deal. Internet kept cutting out. Again not the end of the world.

Excellent value for money. Fairly basic, but clean, comfortable and well located. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. A pleasant 15 min walk, along the river, into Cochem town centre.
A relatively minor criticism, but no facility to control water temperature in shower.

Location was excellent, a 10 minute walk into Cochem centre. Cleanliness of the room was lovely. Welcome upon arrival was really nice and lovely gardens to sit out front in the sunshine if desired.

Lovely room and views the hostess was very nice and spoke really good English which made life easy. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.
A little further from the centre than i envisaged but a comfortable walk all the same. I didn't realise until i arrived that i had to pay for my stay with cash. I presumed that i could pay by card as i did at every other hotel i stayed in on my motorcycle tour. Maybe this fact could be mentioned on the booking.com website. Otherwis all good.

Easy check-in, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, location beautiful and excellent as a starting point to explore Cochem (50 meters from supermarket, 20 minutes from castle)
My Apple products did not like the wifi signal, but I hotspotted, so it wasn't really an issue. The doors are a bit thin, so I could hear everyone going through the hall. Still good enough to have a good night's rest though.
