Wonderfully calm retreat but just 5 minutes from Cochem !
Breakfast buffet ample, hot and cold, and as much to eat as you like.
I would stay here again.
Odd that such a beautiful hotel, 3 star for Germany, had for example bedside wall lights that didnt work, an oldish lift, and a minibar just with softs. In France where l live that would qualify as a 2-star lm sure.

Very comfortable bed, great service in the restaurant, excellent food and wine, well appointed and clean room.
The lighting in the room was a little dim and it would be helpful to have more disabled parking near to the hotel (only one space that was occupied and everything else close to the hotel was taken)

Super comfortable, spacious room in a gorgeous forest location (but reachable by public bus from Cochem). The beds and showers were great and the breakfast buffet was so huge and varied! Also the bathrobes in the room were a nice touch. I don't often stay in hotels (usually hostels) but this one was such a good price and amazing value. Definitely spend more than one day if you can, and explore the castles and hiking trails around the area!

Excellent hotel facilities and lots of character, ideal for couples
The meals were of a good quality with lots of variety.
Great location, only a short drive from Cochem town centre
Will be adding this hotel onto our List when visiting in the Mosel region.
