Quiet room; good size. Friendly staff - remembered us from our previous visits. Great buffet breakfast and good choice of evening meal both set menu and a la carte. Conveniently located on edge of town but only 20 minutes walk into centre along the bank of the river Moselle.

Host was whining a lot, from the check in to paying drinks. Moreover, he was unwilling to change his language to English, to blame us afterwards that we didnt understand everything correctly. It made us feel very unwelcome. Not what we expect in the hospitality industry. Hotelroom was nicely updated. Breakfast was good. Rest of the staff as well. Price is too high, but thats what you get if you get to a very touristic place in high season.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location for us. Staff were great, room was perfect with a lovely balcony to sit out on, breakfast was superb with a great choice for all tastes. One of the best breakfast buffets we think weve ever experienced

Breakfast very good selection, pity you have a fixed time to dine. Hotel was clean, a lot of rules, would be handy to have information book in room, for hotel and cochem info, Wifi in room was none existent, when we complained we were told to use in reception area. Nice hotel in general staff very friendly and helpful
Having to book the restaurant in the morning for an evening meal, as the hotel is a good 30 minute walk from Cochem we asked to eat in hotel on arrival, to be told not possible as we did not have a reservation Mattresses in need of replacement

This is a beautiful property with grape arbors in the courtyard and lovely balconies. Parking just outside the hotel is easy in the low season. The bathroom was a nice size, and the included breakfast buffet had plentiful choices. There is a walk along the Rhine of about a kilometer into the main town of Cochem.
The only complaint was that the room smelled a little musty and was a bit humid.

Well placed for access to places of interest in the area. Good standard of rooms. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly staff.
Car parking limited. If the hotel is busy it might be a struggle to get a space.
