Located a short walk from Celle’s beautiful Old Town, the modern Hotel Am Braunen Hirsch awaits guests with spacious rooms and suites, free parking, and free internet access. We had booked the studio, a separate appartement on the top floor. It was huge, with its own rooftop terrasse. The town itself was very nice, too.

A fine hotel, dogs allowed, free parking, even with the possibility of charging your EV. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms.
There is no elevator which makes the trip to the upper floors a bit of a hassle when you have large suitcases / plenty of luggage. The hotel is quite close to some major roads with quite some traffic which is audible in the rooms if you have open windows.

The location was great. The room was nice and clean with a great shower. No noise at night which meant we had a good nights sleep. The there was a good selection of food for breakfast, with nice staff attending.

Room was larger than expected. Perfectly adequate for our two night stay. Nice German restaurant with the same name nextdoor. It is fairly close to the center of Celle (about 15 minutes walking), and there are local buses available if needed.
The reception is unstaffed. There is a phone at the desk to reach them. Not really a big problem, because the key was waiting for us at the desk, but if there is something wrong this can be incovenient.

The hotel is pretty close to old town, it took us about 15 minutes to walk to it. The room was good sized. The breakfast spread was plentiful. Staff was friendly.
The room we had was on the street side and even though it was pretty off-side, there was quite some traffic and people out and about during all hours of the day. We heard this from our room because we had the windows open due to the warm weather.

The room and bathroom were very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a shower with good size. Location is not bad, but still a good walk from the train station.
There was no elevator, no fan and mini fridge. The shower drain was also not draining properly, so water would easily accumulate.

Nice big room. Nice breakfast room.
The room was very cold (18 degrees) and despite I turned up the heating to max, it never got warm. Admittedly it was a very cold time of year, December 2022.

A very nice room. Coffee and tea in room provided. Good location not far from Celle centre. Pub nearby with decent food.
No free water in the room which you need to provide when the room in the roof is so hot.
