Good breakfast, but very basic hotel. Rooms very ordinary. It says prestige but there is nothing prestigious about this hotel.
Unfortunately it is not a very nice area and there were a lot of unsavoury characters around and wondering in the hotel who definitely weren’t paying guests. Our daughter didn’t feel particularly safe.

The hotel was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location - across the square from the railway station and tram stops so amazing public transport. Very handy for Tram 6 for going to the airport.
Nothing wrong at all with the hotel. Yes, there are people who loiter around the train station who might seem a tad dodgy (drunk or under the influence of something stronger maybe) but they do leave you alone generally and there is a high security presence there so you wouldn't feel unsafe at all.

Location is exceptional! Especially if you arrive by train. Downtown is within walking distance, and there are plenty of shops on the way.
There are several shops that sell liquor in the area, therefore you may find a lot of people drinking in the surrounding areas to the hotel.

Very good beds, good pillows, bathroom /shower and good insulated rooms , breakfast, breakfast staff
Room way too hot in the ”two-room family size” where there only was a/c in one of the rooms, couldn’t open windows because noisy outside, the cleaning could improve ( found hair and dirt in shower, all Kleenex was finished)

Location is great.
The beds were too old and sunken. Had a sore back from the 2 nights.
The extractor fan made a loud noise that even shook the glass in the shower. Engineering tried to fix it the next day. In the evening, when we were about to sleep, the noise came back. The hotel needs a revamp....badly.

Being next to the main railway station makes getting around the city very easy. The room appeared recently renovated and was excellent value for money.
Not a reflection on the hotel but some may be put off by the locality (personally I like railway stations !). We used the garage and not having a direct link to the hotel wasn't ideal, having said that having parking in a city centre was a bonus !
