The room was spacious and a large window provided a lot of light. Surprisingly, though the hotel was next to a busy road/street, we heard no noise. It was exceptionally quiet. The location of the hotel is excellentvery easy to walk to the old town and to all the sights that interested us.
The internet connection shuts off during the day when were out sight-seeing, and we had to reconnect. No problem, really, just a minor inconvenience.

Mid-size hotel conveniently located 5 min walk from the riverside and 10 min from the center. Facilities, rooms, common areas were ok, nothing outstanding and probably a bit old-fashioned, but overall well kept, clean, in order. Safe parking space in the back (not free, unfortunately). Reception staff very helpful and welcoming, both the young manager on the evening and the french-speaking man on the morning. We did not try the breakfast. Room was large enough, including a sofa, quiet 's we were on the back)
The location is not very nice : on a large, soulless avenue in front of a large factory - looks a bit like a derelict district, and gives the impression of not being very safe at night for individual women for instance, but that may be just an impression - we came back at night and did not experience any issue. In the bathroom, the shower was a bit small - ok for us, but might be a problem for some travellers - this was the only downside of the room. For the rest, good hotel

Friendly host at the reception. Easy private parking behind the hotel for a good price. Location very close to the bustling inner city. Room and bathroom were OK and clean.
Unfortunate combination of no airconditioning and room on the street-side being very noisy indeed even with the windows closed and earplugs in. The windows are actually quite well soundproofed with triple glazing, but the kind of traffic on this road on a friday night was too much even for this. High-powered motorcycles, sports cars and cars blasting loud music well into the night, as well as trams passing by... It was like trying to sleep in a Fast & the Furious movie, in a sauna. Traffic is not really a fault of the hotel of course and it seems like they've done what they can in terms of sound proofing the windows, although honestly I can only recommend this room for people who are very easy sleepers.

I really enjoyed myself at Hotel Westfalia. It is a proper hotel with full time staff, restaurant but at a very good price. On top of that it is close to the town.

This hotel has an unbeatable location when you visit Bremen. Facing the Beck brewery, with a private parking, just a healthy stroll from the old town and the banks of the Weser. Very friendly assistants.

This hotel was much better than I expected based on the general note. Welcoming and cheerful receptionist. The room was small, but comfy and very cosy. The adjustable heating was much appreciated. Through closed window I couldnt hear the traffic at all, but I realize that in summer, you might want to leave the window open.
I missed tea-making facilities. Also, a more affordable breakfast would have been nice.
