The breakfast was very good. I especially liked the sugar-free options for breakfast; plain yoghurt (i.e. without sugar), linseed, oatflakes, sunflower kernels. Also lots of other breakfast options, to suit all tastes.
There are no facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee in the rooms. Had to buy one at the bar. Expensive and for the bar maid it appeared to be an outlandish requests. The hotel offers self-check in counter. Maybe I'm being old fashioned here, but that feels very cold. Also it seems that there are some technical difficulties to overcome. E.g. how to obtain the WIFI password. And the app (Hotelbird) didn' know I was checked in after I did so at the self-checkin counter. Furthermore at this price point I don't expect a plastic undersheet in the beds. The rooms are okay, but value-for-money wise they feel very basic. The separation between the room and the bathroom is a frosted glass door. When you need to go for a pee in the middle of the night the light shining through may wake up your partner. The hotel didn't feel like a 4-star hotel to me. However, it felt like a five star hotel to my wallet...

Location was very good! If you really want to see center of Bremen is exactly place where you need to be. Everything was close to hotel. And hotel was comfortable!
I think for a lot of families with kids is very important to have options to go inside your room as faster as possible. We arrived just for 40 minutes earlier that official time of check in, but room wasn't ready. It wasn't critical but I think minimum one hour before room needs to be ready and people with kids must have preference to go in!

Nice hotel for a stayover or citytrip. Can recommend the family rooms. Breakfast was great. The wafflemaker very nice addition for kids. (beside waiting time)
Expensive After 10:00 pm outside of the hotel not the best place, due people hanging arround.

Glass doors on bathroom: when hubby went to loo at night, bathroom light floods the bedroom with light! Not good !
Superior room but the extra space for sitting was triangular and not very accessible with two in the room.

I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I entrusted your establishment with my laundry, specifically requesting that it be returned to me the following morning. However, to my disbelief, it took a staggering 48 hours for me to receive my belongings!
Being left without any clothes for two whole days is utterly absurd and unacceptable. I had expected a level of efficiency and professionalism from your hotel, particularly in handling such basic services as laundry. This delay caused significant inconvenience and discomfort during my stay.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and the prolonged delay in returning my laundry is simply inexcusable. As a guest, I rely on the services provided by the hotel, and this incident has left me deeply disappointed.
I kindly request that you take immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect a prompt response from your management, along with a sincere apology for the inconvenience and the lapse in service. Furthermore, I would appreciate compensation for the distress caused during my stay.
I hope that you will address this matter seriously and take the necessary steps to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future. I had hoped for a pleasant and hassle-free experience during my stay at your hotel, but unfortunately, this incident has marred my perception and overall Satisfaction

The hotel is located close to the central station, which is not the nicest area in Bremen, but I also didn't feel really unsafe. Everything can be reached by foot or by one of the many tram lines. As the hotel is in a side street, it was quiet in the room.
The room was spacious and modern. The Bathroom however could make use of a shower door or curtain.
The breakfast buffet had wide variety of sweet and savoury options, including local specialities as herring and even a waffle maker. In particular, there was a great selection of bread.
I didn't have much contact with the staff, for check-in and check-out they were friendly, but sometimes the reception had a queue or was unattended.
There's a self-check-in machine which could help with giving the staff more time, but it is somewhat hidden.
- The room lighting was only sufficient when all lights were switched on, which required buttons at four different places of the room to be pressed.
- By default, rooms aren't cleaned anymore, officially due to environmental reasons. I think it's rather cost cutting, as room cleaning is one of the major cost factors in hotels. I've seen this in other places, but there, the reception at least told about that during check in, asked whether it is okay. In most cases, they also offered something in exchange for the saved cost - e.g. a free drink at the bar. In this hotel, I only learned that from a sign in the elevator, though I was mostly using the stairs (for environmental reasons...). One has to inform the reception before 8:30 am for cleaning.
But even turnaround cleanings seem to be done rather superficially. When I stretched myself after getting up, I caught a lot of dust on the back part of the bed.
- The window could almost not be opened.
- The WiFi was fast, but the repeated sign-in every few hours was annoying, especially considering that they were definetely using a shared username without password this makes no sense
- The restaurant had plenty of free seats on both days, and as they had one of my northern German favorites (Pannfisch) on the menu, I wanted to go there. On the first day at 8PM they didn't offer me a seat stating that the kitchen would need three hours to serve all the people, but would close before.
On the second day, there was a family gathering taking place in one of the conference rooms, but the restaurant appeared open. I arrived at 7:30 PM, was seated, given a menu, but the the friendly waiter arrived super disappointed that the kitchen said they can't handle it anymore. If that's the case, don't open the restaurant and maybe put a sign somewhere at the entrance?

We booked a superior room, but the extra space, where the seating was, was triangular shaped and not easily accessible with two people trying to move around.
Also theres a glass door to the bathroom. When someone went to the loo at night, the light affected the whole room, and woke the other person!

Location was very convenient, within walking distance from the old town. The room was spacious and was well equipped. Checkin and checkout was fast and the staff we had for checkin was very friendly.
Room cleaning is only upon request. Parking was full when we arrived. Some staff member was not overly friendly.

Recommended! Nice welcoming staff and atmosphere. Perfect location, garage attached, 5 min walk to old town and surroundings. 8 min with taxi to weserstadium if you are planning going to match.
