Location was good - near the river and restaurants. Staff were nice. Decor was arty.
Beds were so hard I might as well have slept on the floor!! I used the spare duvet under me, but the bed was still like a rock. Lighting in the bathroom was lacking and one of the windows could not be covered by the curtains because of the supporting ceiling beam. No blind at the window either so people in the building across the street could see in. The hotel car park is only suitable for small cars, so had to park some distance away.

Very nicely done hotel - I liked the design, the simplicity , the comfort. Excellent spa area. Staff is very friendly, always willing to help and support you.
The only wish I would recommend is to make it visible that the sauna is not FKK and people would need a bathing suite. Not talking about the swimming pool, but for the sauna.

Very nice pool! Great location, quiet, overlooking the river. Comfy bed.
The terrace by the river wasn't open and we had to ask for the rooftop area to open and carry our drinks up. We also didn't know you have to ask for the sauna to be turned on. You also need to ask for a robe and slippers.

Lovely hotel with a fabulous breakfast. Our room overlooking the river was great. They also had the most fun and interesting bike storage we have ever encountered!
Bike storage was 175 meters from the hotel.

We were heartily welcome at Hotel Nena when we checked in as a couple for two nights for a private visit to Bremen. Compared with other hotels the staff was extra friendly and helpful to find our way around the hotel. This hotel is special. Centrally situated you are in walking distance to Bremen Altstadt and the Weser. The hotel itself is an amazing combination of modern design, comfort and beauty and artefacts from 800 year old history that came to light when the place was renovated and expanded lately. Our room with bath and small kitchen for self catering was amazing and the relation value for money as well. Everything we could ask for was available. The gym and pool, the roof top terasse were enjoyable, cosy, practical, and beautiful. But also bigger groups and businesses can find a suitable venue in Hotel Nena, since meeting rooms and facilities are available. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Disappointing
Friendly front-desk staff, the apartment room itself was tidy and well-equipped. The apartment i was moved to would have a been a good location if I wanted to visit the town centre.
My booking was changed to their 'other' building 12 mins walk away, which meant when my key card wouldn't work at 3am I had a 30 minute round trip to go back to the reception and find someone to come and let me in... They said it was a 'known' technical issue, which suggests it should be sorted asap. There was also no cleaner (ie new coffee!) during the 3-day stay, despite them confirming this. Given I booked this place for maximum rest during a busy conference, those two things made it a frustrating experience.

The location is superb with lots of public transportation around. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The kitchen is tiny and not very well equipped, but it was good enough to have breakfast. The room is modern with a comfortable large bed and it was quiet at night. Housekeeping was a hit and miss.
There is a nice swimming pool in the lower level with comfortable seating lounges. The sauna would be great if the guests using it would know what to do. For example, kids playing around inside or other guests with completely wet bathing suits making the whole place wet inside. There isn't an appropriate relax area for sauna users because it is kept warm for the swimming pool guests.

Had a great time in Bremen and Nena was definitely part of that. My room was cozy with a beautiful view and comfortable bed. The place is clean, the staff is helpful and nice. The pool had ambient lights and a relaxing atmosphere, it was an experience in itself that made our trip even more fun.
The top of our wardrobe was dusty.
