At breakfast time, we had to wait 45 minutes to eat. The breakfast schedule was poorly managed. The restaurant staff only spoke German and were not friendly to guests.

Disappointing
Nice breakfest with surprisingly decent coffe. Good location just next to main railway station and close to the old city centre.
Guys, if you do not want to cooperate with Booking please do so asap, but do not punish your clients for using Booking! What I did not like?
1. Reception: instead of receiving a service, the guy suggesting using the tablet with automatic check-in instead. If you want me to do your job, please pay me! 4-stars hotel outsorcing obligation for check-in to the clients, unbelievable. This is not a cheap bed'n breakfast in South Europe...
2. Of course, the automatic check-in did not work, so I had tu turn back to reception.
3. The reception did not (or at least claims not to have) received my request for invoice - sent through booking (I even got a reply from the hotel that this is not a problem and they received the request with invoice details!)
4. Both elevators are used as a smoking room, so the cigarette smell is everywhere
5. The cleaning service does not bother to respect "not disturb" signs and enters the room, moreover does it before 10 AM
6. The floor and walls of hotel need refurbishing asap, the wooden decoration next to the floor is falling apart and is glued with a tape.
7. Double bed in hotel turned out to be to tiny single beds put together. Extremely uncomfortable, and the beds are designed for persons at max 170 cm height, they are really too short.
8. The electronic kettle to boil the water does not switch off. It keeps on boiling the water on and on - it is extremely dangerous.
9. You have to request for gluten-free bread, it is not provided automatically on the spot.
10. While contacting the staff, they kept on repeating that they do not care what you write on Booking, they get no messages from the service. It happens the first time and I must say it is quite irritating. This is not the concern of client, if Booking and the hotel had some issues to deal with - do it by yourselves or stop cooperating...

The rooms are spacious.
The hotel is in front of the train station.
We had to pay 4 euros for 1 bad robe, the robe was very old and used. Luckily it was clean.
In the swimming pool lessons were given, so you could not swim freely. It was mentioned nowhere, but still you could not enter the pool, what is difficult to explain to a child who is looking forward to go and swim ‘now’.

The room was clean.
The location, near the train station, albeit convenient does not feel very safe, especially in the evening.
The furniture is quite old and dated.
The whole 1st floor smelled strongly of chlorine.

A beautiful and full of character hotel. Very centrally located near the train station and a short walk away to the inner city. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Breakfast was great and beds are very comfortable.
Room did not seem to be soundproof, and noise could be overheard.
