It was cheap, the staff was receptive and did their best, the coffee was good.
I guess that I'm too old for hostels, as it was definitely more of a hostel than a hotel. The cleaning matched hostel standards, and the facilities were mediocre. I guess that you get exactly what you pay for, so no problem with that, I just wonder how this counts as a 2 star hotel. The staff raised it to hotel standards, maybe.

The price for 5 people and decent conditions of the room and facilities. Breakfast was good for a reasonable price.
It was too loud to sleep - people were running around and shouting the whole night.

The location is good.
We stayed there at the end of June and it was really hot. There was no air conditioning in the rooms. That's what we didn't like. Also, there are no private parking spaces, so we parked on the street. It was free but we would have preferred a private parking option that seemed safe.

The staff, always helpful.
There was a guy, I didn't get his name, but he was working for an other hostel in the same chain, was there as an extra work, and he went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable when my bus was very late.
And I recently broke my foot and the staff was kind enough to put me in a down bed.

Location is quite close to the train station the neighborhood isn’t too pleasant but not far from main areas of interest. Some of the guest here were unpleasant. Place is was cleanish.

We intentionally chose A&O because of the check out time of 11:00 on Sundays. This is because we attended an event on the Saturday night which ended late, and I needed to drive for many hours the following day so needed to make sure that I had an opportunity to rest. An 11am check out gave me this opportunity. However, after getting very little rest anyway due to other guests playing loud music and singing elsewhere on our floor, the cleaner already knocked on our door several times, well before check out time. The first times we ignored it and attempted to sleep, but at 09:40, still 80 minutes before check out, I opened the door and asked the cleaner to come back later, as we don't want to check out yet. However, although he went away, he came back again several times. Realising that there is no chance to go back to sleep with the regular knocking at the door, we got up and started to get ready. At 10:30, the cleaner returned again and asked us when we will leave. I told him clearly that I will leave the room at the check out time of 11:00, but he still returned 10 minutes later, as I was getting ready. I opened the door, told him again that I need more time, and he looked annoyed and simply didn't say anything.
Meanwhile, our friend in another private room contacted us to say that she had been told to leave her room at 10:20, with the cleaners on her floor telling her that they needed to clean her room immediately.
The check out time of 11:00 was told to us by the check in agent, as well as being printed on the cards we received with our room keys. This experience was unacceptable, and unfortunately there was nobody there at the reception to tell this to when we went downstairs at 10:50.
I wrote a complaint directly to the hostel and gave them an opportunity to reply to me before I would write this review. However, 2 weeks later my complaint has still not been answered, so it seems that they don't care.
