I stayed one night in Braunschweig on my way to Prague. Originally, I planned to stop in Hannover but couldn’t find the hotel I was looking for. After checking a few times, I came across Hotel Aquarius, located in the middle of the countryside farms.
? To my surprise, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, creating a positive vibe from the start. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, offering a good rest after a long drive.
? Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and great quality.
✅ Overall, Hotel Aquarius Braunschweig was an unexpected but very enjoyable stop. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

Although the room was small, it was comfortable, and we slept well. The staff were always friendly and very accommodating, showing great flexibility with check-in and check-out times.
The room could have been cleaner, and the breakfast was disappointing with a limited selection. Hot dishes ran out quite early. The sauna is only available on specific days, and the pool is often partially blocked due to training sessions, which makes it less enjoyable.

Very attentive staff, great breakfast buffet and nice location on the edge of a forest.
Hotel feels dated and clearly has seen better years, rooms need attention, food at night ok but could equally be improved.

We were upgraded to a large apartment, what was originally a double room. Staff (particularly at reception) is very friendly and the breakfast is lovely. I recommend.

Room size was big, we had enought space to unpack our luggage and sit to eat there. The shower is pretty good, warm e nice water flow. There is towel dryer.
What I didn't like was the fact there is no refrigerator in the room, so I could not keep my drinks cold. Also the curtains were broken, so we had to manage them very carefully.

The location was convenient and in pleasant countryside
They receptionist did not seem to have a booking for us. We requested a ground floor room because my wife has breathing difficulties. We were offered a poor quality room on lower floor, but eventually they found a better room.
The bar was shut, the dinner was reasonable, but the breakfast was below out expectations.
The decor and facitlities were tired and would benefit from upgrading.
Generally, we got a poor impression of the hotel, and would not stay again.
