- good varied breakfast
- they do what they can with an old property - good signage, activities, good for families with kids, people with dogs, etc.
- the building is aging and, until a general renovation, this will be felt; still, they do the best they can with it

It was a little “old school” but still well maintained.
The lifts were sometimes very busy and took a long time to come.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a balcony - looking across the hills in front. It was large and comfortable.
Due to the position of the hotel you would need to take the car if you wanted to visit the town. You can walk to the fenicular however, if you want to go up the mountain and see the views.

-hot water took long to reach shower
-no hairdryer
-did not order city transport tickets (€6 each) but found out that it was charged added to the hotel bills

Disappointing
We had a comfort to stay at the funiculiers to Wurmberg.
We did not like food taste and the food easthetics in the restaurant. Room was old and used, not cosy. Personell tried to be friendly but they lack knowledge about hospitality. I never paid 500€ for 2 nights with 1 child in such poor organisation. Our expectations were not reached, we were VERY dissapointed. Sorry for a critical comment.

It was all excellent! The breakfast is luxurious, the room is very nice and located with a view to the nature. I would recommend it in any case since even outdoor activities for families are offered.

The view
We were surprised the pool was closed for renovation.
We had not been informed there would be no housekeeping during our stay.
They increased our charge by 70 euro for sleeping 2 instead of 1 person in our double room, and removed our discount booked through booking.com . We were encouraged not to book through booking.com again but directly at the hotel to avoid this :(
