This family-run hotel is located on the edge of the forest in Braunlage offers its own sauna, solarium and hydrojet massage. Wonderful
We enjoyed our two nights at this small family owned inn. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was large and it had a balcony with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Everything was very clean. There was a good breakfast with many options every morning. It is outside of the main streets of town so very quiet but a short walk into town.

Spaciousness, friendly staff, balcony was a plus. Lovely breakfast.
Very dark walk through an avenue of trees from the town. Wooden floor on balcony needs attention.

The breakfast contained the full range of goodies one would expect from a 'continental' breakfast...meat, cheese, eggs, bread rolls, jam, yoghurts, etc etc Enough variety to set one up fro the day... Yummy! Oh, and try the cafe - a fantastic range of home made cakes - yummy
The hotel is a throw back to a traditional German hotels of the 80's - very traditional - having spent many years in and out of hotels - the rooms are excellent, spotlessly clean, flat screen TV, etc - the only thing missing is a tea & coffee making facilities in the room - plus a kettle, of course....
