I wish we could have had more time to walk around and enjoy the scenery, from what we could see from our window it was beautiful. the location was extremely beautiful and quiet. plenty of parking options. the restaurant was just next to our building and it seemed to be alive with lots of laughter from other guests. the place was quite roomie, and amenities were great. you can open the windows at night and enjoy the fresh breeze when the room gets a bit too hot. the hosts were quite propitious to message back when we had a question, and although we didn’t see a staff person until the next day, they made sure to leave us instructions on how to get into our room. the kids loved it.

The view and location
The restaurant is a separate business, so the reception didn’t make reservations and charging meals to the room wasn‘t available. That wasn‘t a real issue, but it wasn‘t apparent on the web site. As we had indicated when making the reservation we arrived late, so we missed this service. Also, reaching the hotel by phone late afternoon/early evening to make a restaurant reservation was difficult. If we had realized that they were separate we could have called the restaurant directly.

Location is amazing, the room is big
No info about check-out time, I had to leave earlier than I planned to.
There is a kitchen with dishes, but there is no salt :(
Also a pillow was awful and very uncomfortable

The location was breathtaking, we walked lots and enjoyed the nature and site seeing. People we talked to were very nice.
The surrounding area, like Kirchheimbolanden, is also very pleasant.
The sauna was closed, and we were hoping on having a nice time in the sauna, there were also a lot of flies in the apartment, the last day our windshield wiper was broken of our car not so nice. The restaurant was down, lasagna was cold, got no apology when I sent it back, another mountain of cheese was thrown on it and reheated.

The communication with Mr. Szabo was excellent. He explained everything in detail, making sure we understood everything. The staff was super friendly, the sauna was really good and the forest behind the hotel was magical. We can totally recommend the place.
