Great spacious room, friendly host, nice breakfast.
Unfortunately we had to leave after one night due to illness. We had to pay the full price for two nights incl tourist tax. In our opinion the host could have proposed a discount on a next stay for example. It was not the host his fault, but neither ours. Unforeseen circumstances where both should give and take. That was disappointing.

Room was modern, neat, clean, with small kitchen facilities (all you need except microwave oven). Shared terrace on the roof.
One can self-buy local wine from the fridge of the wine shop even in the night.
Staff friendly, speaking English.
Very centrally located.
The city is cosy and beautiful. Wine testing in almost every second restaurant, very special atmosphere.
Everything was great but check-in information was saying arrival before 18.00, so we rushed to make sure we come on time.
The check-in in the hotel is in wine shop/restaurant which was open until late that Friday, so I assume we could have checked in even after 18.00.
So hotel might want to indicate this information if my assumption is correct, and guests might want to call the hotel to learn if later check-in is possible on their day of arrival.
Anyway the hotel is great.

Very friendly service. Comfortable and small, 7 rooms in total. Hibana. Well furnished. Romantic roof terrace. A particularly good breakfast. There is no access with a car and large suitcases. take a small luggage and enjoy!

Very comfortable room equipped to a high standard in a central location with great attention to detail and an excellent breakfast.
The TV was't working - this wasn't too much of a problem.

The rooms are located on top of the vine tasting room, so do go down ( before 18h) to taste some of the wines. Otherwise nicely located in the pedestrian zone of Bernkastel. Later you can buy a bottle to enjoy on the terrace.
Do take into account the reception/ wine shop closes at 18h although they do provide service also for later arrivals.
