Hotel Zur Post was an excellent location for the trip to Bernkastel Keus. It was a short walk to the town centre. The staff Were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast and location to old town.
Our open windows were above back entrance, and cigarette smoke comes into our room.
If you smoke cigarettes, don't throw the butt's on the ground.

The building was lovely and cool even in the heat wave we had, nice kitchen room, elevator, classic room, nice terrace, the family room was spacious and the location was convenient for public transportation/easy access to the bus up to the castle. The owners were so sweet and personal and accommodating to my extra needs.
I had high expectations for the breakfast based on other reviews but I would say this was a good classic German selection, not extraordinary. the breakfast room was beautiful though!
