Nice size room on the top floor of the hotel, very nice German breakfast with friendly staff
The AC unit is in the hallway, to get the air moving it might be good to install some ceiling fans in each room, during extreme temperatures the hallway is cool but the rooms still stay warm

Rooms very tastefully decorated. Pictures online are representative of what you get. "Modular" units in rooms for bed, storage, desk/tv area, etc. made for clean lines, efficiency & plenty of room to set up a home -away-from-home. Loved the stylish light fixtures & multiple options for lighting, not the least of which was the electric blind system that darkened the whole room SO WELL that we slept better!! Totally quiet at night. Loved the comfortable chairs on wheels (brilliant), spacious desk area, comfortable pillows, spacious & spotless bathroom.
Parking was fantastic, lots of room in lot on site. Well kept up place that you can tell has a lot of love in it. As we were leaving an older gentleman was securing a grape vine - every detail seems to have been worked out. Good breakfast selection with some of the best thick yogurt I've had. Tasty strong coffee. I asked for, and was given a kettle & glasses to use in room to make tea. Good wifi reception, very reliable. Steps away from main square of Bernkastel-Kues, easily reached in just under 10 minutes. Fantastic location.
Only that we couldn't see the castle or town at all. NOT hotel's fault (we did have a nice balcony with chairs and a table, grape vines cheerfully on it, and a view of a hillside).

The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The location is close to all city attractions.
I was able to park my car and also charge it there.
Small blankets that could be bigger.
Would be great if we could have some bathroom slippers in the room. Also there were no mineral water in the room for arrival. Hotels usually have some.

Wonderful hotel - nicely located in quiet area, very convenient parking place, beautiful hotel and beautiful yard. Extremely friendly and attentive personnel, lovely breakfast and very nice spacious family room. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back!

Great breakfast and good old fashioned German service. It's a great old old building that's possible a little over' decorated on the inside.
Unfortunately the bed in our room whas like sleeping on cardboard. Which was slightly improved after complaining, the lovely staff added a couple of (1cm) toppers to make it just bareble.

Beautiful small hotel in a good location. Very nice rooms and a very friendly staff. We were greeted and showed around on arrival, and the there is ample parking in the back for the guests. The breakfast room was quite amazing and they’re serving a tasty breakfast with a good selection that would cater to most tastes. It’s good value for money and is highly recommended.
Nothing, except that we forgot to ask for the rooms with the balcony.

The room was good and clean, breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly.
The restaurant was closed, a male member of the staff was often quite rude to us, for no known reason.
