Since it is family room, we have to go all the way upstairs. There is no lift, so if you have to carry big luggage it can be hard. However it is two floors, so manageable. There is two rooms so adults and kids can be seperate and a common bathroom. So the room itself is like a mini apartment and spacious. The location is perfect and right on the city and can see the river from the room. The Hotel and restaurant is a mix of German and Indian, so good option for delicious indian food which we enjoyed. The host family background is India and we had a great hospitality.
we drove on a car and it was hard with google maps, so we ended making couple of rounds before finding the spot. It is better that one park the car close to the river, which is public paid parking (as the hotel anyway doesnt have parking since it is small town) and walk to the hotel which is way easier. The entrance to the hotel is at the back of the restaurant.

Excellent, central location in a courtyard in the heart of the old town, yet quiet at night. Super-convenient for bike tourists, as it's right off the Moselradweg and has a big, locked garage for bikes across the alley from the hotel (with plugins for e-bikes, although I didn't try them). My room was large, comfortable, and well-appointed for the price. Breakfast was in a cozy, traditional room in part of the restaurant and had good choices. All the staff I interacted with were helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again when traveling along the Mosel.
Be aware that there may be many stairs to your room, as the hotel encompasses several buildings (all connected) and floors. No air conditioning in my room, but they did have a pole fan available for warmer nights.

Breakfast was average, the coffee was not that good as you might expect in Germany.
Location in the centre.
The room was average, not bad.
The hotel has a good Indian food restaurant for diner, it is great.
The hotel should have put information to expect extreme noise at certain date or season specially when it is known to the the whole town in advance that they have a music festival starting on 22 August.
The music was so loud and so annoying, even when all windows and doors are closed the noise level of the music inside the room was reaching above 80 dB inside the room which is considered harmful to the hearing, the music started from 08:00 hr and lasted until 11:00 hr, it was a terrible evening. If I knew that I wouldn't book in this hotel and would have chosen a more remote place.

Central location in the historic part of town.
The building is very traditional and has an old fashioned but charming hospitable vibe.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
My room, number 5 wasn’t very soundproof. I could hear everything that was happening in the bathroom of the room next to me.
The interior of this hotel is dated, but somehow complimented the location.
