Wonderful
Perfect location for seeing old town and Burg Landshut. Also very accommodating for breakfast and other needs! We took train and bus to arrive and bus stop was very close.
Be aware that check in finishes early, they were accommodating but just something to keep in mind. Otherwise absolutely loved our stay.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming! It’s centrally located and we had rooms along the river which were very quiet at night. Beds were very comfortable and nice bathrooms.
Everything overall was great; only note is we didn’t have shampoo/conditioner in shower.

Location was great. We had a room with balcony overlooking the Moselle so a great way to wake up!
A good spread for breakfast and hosts were very helpful with info on local restaurants, flower shops etc.
Spiral staircase up to our second floor room could be a challenge for some people.

The shower was fabulous, although I had to read the manual to figure out how to use it. Parking was easy. Hospitality was good. The breakfast was decent (usual continental offerings, plus scrambled eggs).
My room was advertised as having a river view, the most important factor for my hotel choice. I planned to spend rainy afternoons overlooking the river with a good book. However, my room was around the side of the building, so I could only see a part of the river, and only if I went out onto the deck, which wasn't possible in the rain.

Lovely, helpful staff who helped us get the most out of the evening we had in Bernkastel. They also allowed us to store our paddle boards in the garage which was really amazing.
The decor is a little dated and the room smelt like it needed an airing.

Breakfast was excellent with helpful stuff
It was strange to arrive at what turned out to be a crowded hotel and find no reception staff. You had to call a mobile number to release the key. We were fortunate in having a room at the back which was quiet but with no view. I think rooms at the front giving onto the main road could well have been noisy. Clearly the best rooms are those in the new Annex with a view over the river.

Super friendly staff, very nice and room with terrace overlooking the river, excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Bernkastel-Kues. Fantastic bathrooms in the rooms of the annex.
