Location (close enough and far enough from Barnkastel. A fabulous in house restaurant. Friendly owners. Large bathroom with good facilities. Lovely vineyards directly behind the house.
A little more comfort with English (hotel staff) would have been nice for us. Unless of course English speaking guests are a rarity.
Bedrooms had virtually no curtains and it gets v bright early morning.
Main light in bedroom wasn’t working.

Located a short drive from Bernkastel in a neighborhood. No restaurants close by other than the one onsite and it was closed the night of our stay. Great breakfast.
No river view. Pricey.
