Disappointing
Terrible old building. You need to climb 2 levels before even getting to the 50 year old elevator, and then need to climb 2 more levels to get to your floor. You can hear everything that happens in the adjacent rooms.

Disappointing
Didn't like much except the reception was open in the midnight.
Way too much expensive for a single room for family for 2 nights, it's more than expected and according to the facilities and cleanliness of the location it charged too much. There was a lot of cigarettes smell even in the room and the first impression was awful. The facilities listed on booking website were not there, like iron, cleanliness etc. Overall me and my family are really really disappointed. Would never recommend anyone neither will book this in future.

Very Good
The way the room looked and also the fact that the room had proper AC
The staircase was a bit difficult to manage on the 5th floor

Very Good
Location, the minibar and the coffee making facilities in the room.
There is no lounge and the reception us on the fourth floor, you might go up there and find your room in the guest floor and you need to go down again with your luggage

Very nice location,perfect for tourists!
The accommodation is ok for the price.
Honestly I did not complain in person but we did not get the same room as shown in the photo of the room reservation.
Is this supposed to be a game of surprise which room you get? ??

Disappointing
The hotel is a complete maze. The facilities leading to the reception are in very poor condition; I understand it is an old hotel, but the state of repair is truly bad—even the elevator up to the reception. The room was very small, though it was very clean. One thing I found absurd was the Wi-Fi system: they give you a slip of paper at reception that is only valid for one day, so I had to go down every night at 11 PM to ask for another slip with a different password—it was a total disaster, unbelievable. The reception staff were not at all attentive and would give you dirty looks just for asking what was going on with the Wi-Fi. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Poor
The location was not bad. It was within walking distance to shopping stores.
The parking price was never established. Once getting to the hotel, the price was 25 euros but with an additional 55 euros safety deposit. To top it off, you have to pay in cash and there are only 6 parking spots which are its first come first serve. I paid for my parking and the parking spot was very narrow that I almost couldn’t fit my car. I drive a Tesla Model 3 and I still had to fold my side view mirrors so it wouldn’t hit the narrows paths. Once I was able to move the vehicle in, all parking spots were taken. When I mentioned this to the reception, they were blaming me for not parking my car right away even though I had a designated parking spot.
In the summer, there is no ac and the provided fan does not help.
The reception office is in the top floor. You either have to take the elevator or stairs. The stairs flooring is held by tape.

Wonderful
Great place to stay near the Kurfürstendamm. The rooms are quite OK for the price. There is a parking place nearby the hotel. The hotel is easy to reach by car and also by the public transport.

Location is good.f
Very noisy room (at the street side, above a bar terrace).
We booked here before and were at one of the top floors, which are significantly more quiet.
The room was also much smaller than we previous we booked.

I really enjoyed the area and there are plenty of train stations nearby.
The staircase is a little worrying. Especially if you are older.

It was old and need of renovation..no air conditioning in the room and that with 37 degrees was unbearable

Poor
just location
There were a lot of flies in my room, and since it was hot, you have to open the window, which lets the flies in easily. The guy working the night shift wasn't helpful. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms is also a major drawback.

Breakfast was good. The location is awesome.
The doors slam. It actually impossible to close them quietly - we tried. So you constantly hear doors slamming - very annoying.

Location is perfect for a few days in the city, we took the hop on and hop off bus which is really around the corner, less than 3 min walk.
If you don't reserve with breakfast included, there is a cafe across the street which is super affordable and great food and coffee, super nice people; we had breakfast there every single day.
AC unit in room worked perfect!
Stairs. I'm not complaining, but you need to keep in mind that in Europe, almost every hotel and hostel has stairs, and elevators are limited. In this hotel, the elevator was in-between floors, which you will need to walk through the stairs to get to your floor/room. If you are staying on the 5th floor, you will need to take another stair, pretty doable, but if you have a big luggage, it will be hard, but you will experience the same at any hotel in Europe.

Disappointing
it was near where I needed to work and check in was flexible. breakfast was copious if not to my taste.
I was woken up by numerous other guests arriving, being locked out, knocking on doors repeatedly, listening to music or videos, speaking loudly etc between the hours of 4 and 6:30 on both Saturday and Sunday morning, which made life fairly miserable. The walls are incredibly thin and the clientele incredibly disruptive. this made my work trip hell and I would never recommend it.

Leaving.
Berlin is a collapsed and fallen place just the whole Europe alike. Oppression and sadness is dense like the oxygen. Everywhere, everyone, everything you look at, is WOKE ! Europe is a place where God just left behind, turned his back to decaying. There's no faith, only fear, blasphemy and destruction behind every wall, every door. About the hotel, well, everything was "meeh" . Agressive-passive treatment, indifferent and lonely people getting in and coming out with empty eyes and void souls. Thats it, this my impression about the amazing job Angela Merkel did to Germany.
