I requested a quiet room and got one that was really, really quiet! Loved that! Breakfast is abundant and of outstanding quality. Public spaces inviting. Staff as professional and as personable as can be. Location is superb, within walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate and the phenomenal city park called Tiergarten, also to the entire cluster of beautiful things to see on the Museumsinse.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Titanic Hotel in Berlin was disappointing. The room was quite small, had an unpleasant smell, and the window was tiny. At check-in, the receptionist kindly asked if we would like a room with a view — we gladly said yes, but ended up with a view of a noisy construction site. The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable, which made it nearly impossible to sleep. We were exhausted the next day. The breakfast was mediocre at best; throughout the entire time, not a single waiter approached us to offer coffee or anything else. Overall, the hotel does not live up to its four-star rating. Even giving it four stars feels generous. We expected much more in terms of comfort and service and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay.

The location was excellent — very close to all the main tourist attractions, which made it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was very good and quite varied. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa, but it looked amazing, and the fitness room was well equipped.
The only downside was that the room felt a bit small.

The room was clean and the shower was excellent. The breakfast had a good variety of food and it was labelled clearly. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to most of our activities. 5 minute walk to the concert hall.
The price of a cup of tea in the bar was €7.00 which is ridiculously expensive. The food was very reasonably priced in the bar so that did not make sense. The main restaurant was expensive in our view. Re the breakfast, it was not clear whether you could order a pot of coffee or not. We only discovered you could do this when we saw other people with a pot of coffee.
