Location and breakfast
Our room wasn’t ready at the check-in time because the previous guests were still in the room. They offered us a lower category room instead (for the same price) that we didn’t accept of course. That was a bit disappointing attitude in a hotel like this.

Hotel was superb for a Xmas stay with the family. Great location and staff all very friendly and attentive. Rooms were good. The Xmas dinner on 24 December was fabulous. Having visited Berlin a few times would recommend the hotel.

The room struck just the right balance between taste and functionality. It was quiet, welcoming and relaxing. All the switches and taps were intuitive and the vast bed was extremely comfortable. It was also plenty warm enough despite the cold temperatures outside.
I came a cropper when, having just done my hair, I hosed down the bath and overshot the ‘off’ position on the tap and ended up getting a second drenching from the fixed head shower.

The room was quite nice with a comfortable mattress, but a little bit small. The hotel is definitely iconic (Jason Bourne) with nice architecture so worth seeing on it's own especially with the Christmas decorations around end of November/December.
The location is quite good with easy metro access and close to tourist attractions (walking distance).
Breakfast was very busy and hard to get a table especially on weekends when tourists arrive for Christmas markets. The hotel feels a bit worn out/old. I went for a cocktail on the ground floor in the hotel bar and waited over 30mins before my drink arrived.

A great location for visiting the Christmas markets and sightseeing, with an impressive hotel building.
I was charged €22 for two coffees, which appears to be excessive. I believe this may have been a mistake, but unfortunately I didn't notice it at the time as I did not have my reading glasses with me.

I have stayed here a few times and love the location, hotel and staff. Everyone is so friendly and makes the stay that much more.
We stayed over NYE so of course the €€€€€ for rooms was overinflated. We booked a city view and got a garden view instead.

Excellent location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy but there was a good variety of options available. Room was spacious/comfortable - we had 2 young children and the junior suite worked very well.

Great location, beautiful hotel, and very close to the bus station, s bahn, and trams. 10-12min walk to the brandenburg gate with shops along the way.
Was completely ignored by waiters for over 25mins in the resteraunt lounge area. Was given a menu and then never checked upon again. Left the area and decided to eat else where out side.

Location, architecture, Ambiente and the breakfast was nice!
Woke up by the sound of a power drill, from the next room when I needed to rest and sleep. Nobody told me about construction work in other rooms that’s going on. That was a horrible experience - I needed to work till late at night.
Room service was quite pushy and came into the room many times, even when I said I need more time.
Smell in room entrance - toilet/poop like.
Service did not ask If everything went fine during checkout.
Service did not reply in weeks for my complaints. Even if they told they would.
Being woken up three days straight by a electric power drill is not acceptable in a hotel with high standards. To be honest - it ruined my stay and made work the next days quite hard.

It’s a very comfortable, smart hotel in the centre. Clean and well maintained too. We paid £485 B&B for 3 nights as a couple over Christmas which we think was good value.
The air con in the room wasn’t great.
