Iconic building, plenty of space and comfort in the bedroom, wonderful location for seeing Berlin. Lovely staff and good food in the restaurant/bar area.
The staff were a bit chaotic and not particularly helpful - with some very notable exceptions. The senior member of staff on check-in was extremely good in sorting out an issue with our room and finding us a different one. But other members of staff dropped the ball. For example, we asked them to book a taxi and they said they had done so but when I checked later they had no record of it - and the front desk blamed the concierge service and the concierge service blamed the front desk! What’s more, when a taxi was then booked, I asked how much it would be and the concierge told me that it would be on a meter. In the event, there was no meter and the driver charged us a fixed price of €75. So communication seems to be a problem. I also tried to give some positive feedback about the restaurant and the young member of staff at the front desk was just not interested. Among other small things.

Room was excellent, we particularly liked the movement sensor light in the bathroom and of course the grand foyer.
Easily addressed minor irritations really. A single slow toaster, in a corner with just 3 functioning slots for 100+ ? breakfast tables. Great to have a kettle in the room but with 1 standard teabag that wasn’t replaced until requested each day. Health treatments and sauna shown on the property description but no information found in the hotel. On enquiry it was a separate business next door.

Location was really great, close to major sights and restaurants with trains and buses close by. Ambience was lovely in the lounge bar/restaurant, great place to chill out after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was great. All the staff were very friendly.

The location of the property was great. Central to many walkable attractions. It also felt safe and clean.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The central spaces were well kept. The breakfast variety was pretty nice.
The beds are not very comfortable, and our room was very warm. We ended up cracking a window because the fans weren’t working as expected.
We definitely thought there was a pool at the property. We were also bummed to learn the sauna was an extra charge (just like breakfast). Overall, the value of the extra items was not very high.

Great location. Great staff. Everything clean. Very good breakfast.
The mattress was very firm, and you could feel the springs against your body, while the pillows were very soft.

Great facility and location
My room was above the delivery entry of the hotel and it was very loud which left me with a night without sleep. I would have appreciated open communication and information about it considering the quality of the hotel

Although we left a note for the room cleaning, the first day was done at 18:00 in the evening, despite our cleaning request on the 2nd and 3rd day, we could not get the reward.

The location was fantastic, only a minute walk to Unter den Linden and direct access to the U-Bahn. The room was very spacious and clean with great facilities. Breakfast offered a great selection and staff were very attentive.
