My stay was great until I was ripped off. When I checked in, they charged me 200 euros as a deposit. During my stay at the hotel, they regularly charged me fees. When I decided to extend my stay by one night, they charged me 310 euros. I paid, and when I checked out, they gave me a receipt stating that I owed 550 euros. The bill included amounts that had already been charged to my card, as well as the cost of the night I had already paid for—but that night cost 242 euros, not 310 euros. So, over the entire duration of my stay, 791.45 euros were charged to my card, and on top of that, they forced me to pay 544.55 euros upon check-out. There’s no other way to describe this except as robbery, because if you take money from my card and then I also pay in cash, you have to refund all the money that was charged to my card.

Very professional and friendly welcome at reception and F&B (breakfast). Location is perfect for easy and quick access to most visit sites around Tiergarten or along Friedrichstr. We got upgraded to a room on 6th floor with balcony which was enjoyable to get good light, nice view and fresh air from outside.
Not much. Only that the swimming pool was under refurbishment and therefore we couldn't use it/relax in the pool after long days of walking and visits.

The decoration of the building is fascinating. The room was tide and clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were nice. The lighting in the room was good. The location of the hotel is perfect.
Small details were missing: breakfast was basic, trash bins in the room didn't have a plastic bag, only 1 bottle of water in the room despite that it's a room for 2, TV was not working, tissues box was in the bathroom not the bedroom, the room view was not interesting.
