All the staff we met were helpful and really friendly. The location was great for walking to tourist attractions, shops & resteraunts. Few minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were a good size, comfy beds and good facilities.

Location and staff were exceptional while I was at hotel and after helping with a returned package that I sent home.
No assistance with luggage when I arrived by taxi. During the day there was assistance. No one cleaned my room or replaced towels for 3 days. I had to ask to have bathroom cleaned. Only 2 servers in bar/restaurant later in the evening. Hard to be seated at restaurant and order. This after an opera. Need more servers.

Good location, accessible to most of the tourist attractions by foot. Subway (U6/U5) just next to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very cozy lobby to spend the night with a glass of wine or cocktail.
A bit noisy from the street traffic (we had rooms facing the street). No swimming pool.

The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless and clearly refurbished. The team that really impressed me was the bar staff, friendly, efficient and quick. The location is great.
The hotel feels grand but dated, I don't think the common areas have been renovated since 1987. There was also a noticeable sewage smell in the hall, which really shouldn't happen in a hotel of this level. The minibar in the room was empty and if you wanted something, you had to go to reception, where they'd fetch it from a locked cabinet, so odd for a 5 star hotel. Service needs attention, especially the night staff. We checked in late and if felt like they couldn't wait to get rid of us so they could go back to bed. Breakfast was average, limited fresh pasties selection and overall lacking in quality. The waiting staff seemed stressed and forgetful, I had to ask 4 times for coffee. I wouldn't stay at the Westin again.

Not so attractive area for evening dinner, but U-bahn close by took us to nicer areas for evening drinks and dinner.

Bed was so comfortable and we had an amazing view of the Brandenburg gate. Foyer of hotel is also impressive lots of history as well.
No bath in room but was manageable as the shower had amazing pressure.
