Super central location. A comfortable bed. A warm welcome at the reception. Tables you can work at after checkout. A small shop near the reception.
There was some weird smell in many areas of the hotel. An old one. As if from sewers. I felt it first in the elevator. I felt it in my room's bathroom. It was the worst in the gym area in the morning.
I prefer hotels that do not stop breakfast to the second (10:30) or at least walk around five minutes before encouraging to take the last portions.
Connecting to the TV was super limited. Why not allow HDMI? Why not having Internet TV and smart TV functionalities?

Room, location, proximity to everything one might look while in Berlin.
I had to shorten my stay for one day, but they refused to deduct the amount applicable when I booked the room (roughly €200 per night), instead offered a €10 discount. That was really pathetic, the only blemish on an otherwise perfect stay at the hotel. It’s a pity the management wasn’t more accommodating when I needed to shorten my stay, especially given that this was already my third time at the same hotel.

The room was large, clean and nice view of the area. It was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, large bathroom and wonderful shower.
The bar and restaurant area are wonderful with a large sweeping staircase as the centrepiece.
You have a very large choice for breakfast, both cooked, continental style, something to suit everyone. Everything was well cooked and presented.
All the staff I interacted with were all very polite and friendly.
The hotel is located about 5 - 10 minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate and therefore makes it an ideal place from which to explore Berlin.
We would definitely return.
The price of the meals / hot snacks and drinks I did find rather expensive even for a city hotel.

The Superior Room with Balcony was Amazing, super clean, new and had all amenities. The location is Ideal, Convenient and Highly Recommended, the area is top notch. Breakfast was Perfect, very generous and excellent quality!!! The Staff all very friendly and always available to assist you for anything.
