Beautiful hotel , central location , lovely size room with king size bed and chaise longe , helpful staff , gorgeous staircase
The man at the front of the hotel who is I would imagine supposed to be the meet and greet was grumpy when we had the occasion to ask a question and never once said hello , goodbye , good evening etc . May need some staff training !

Location is excellent, maybe the best location to visiting Berlin. The lobby is amazing, rooms are very nice decorated, very clean, the bad and the pillows very comfortable, very good breakfast. All experience was the best I have ever met.

Before I checked in, I already made payment through booking.com. When I checked in and checked out, I confirmed with staff, the paymet was made, I no need pay again, but after I check out, hotel auto deduct the room fee 685.65Eud again from my credit card. I contact the hotel, first time the provide wrong amount 100EUD and refund to wong person and wrong credit card. Until to now, I still contact the hotel, I hope I can the get correct refund ASAP. This 5 star hotel only provides so terrible service.

Breakfast choice was vast and excellent catering for British and European tastes
Housekeeping was clearly not staffed sufficient to task. After leaving our room at 0930 for breakfast before exploring Berlin, not returning until 1400, I was very unhappy that our room had not been serviced. Complaining to the front desk staff gave me excuses about high numbers of check ins and check outs, ON A TUESDAY? Our room was serviced at 0900 daily thereafter but on returning to our room later in the afternoon we could see a large number of rooms were still being serviced on our floor. It’s simply not what I’d expect from a five star property.

Everything was just perfect: location, breakfast, interior, and value for money.
The SPA facilities did not meet expectations. The main sauna was out of service, and despite several attempts by the staff member, it could not be turned on. The other sauna, which is designated for nude guests, was consistently occupied, and the Turkish bath was not available. In total, the spa only consists of three saunas.
Furthermore, the hotel pool has been permanently closed since the COVID pandemic; however, there was no information of this on the website or any prior notification provided. It would be advisable to inform guests in advance or include a clear note on the booking platform, as the availability of spa and pool facilities significantly influenced my decision to stay at this property. Please diversify the breakfast buffet menu; for 5 days in a row the menu was absolutely the same.

The grand classic suite was impressively royal and impeccably elegant. Right from temp to provided amenities were truely top notch. Will plan in some time again. And the respective staff/management definitely deserve 11/10 stars.

We arrived at the hotel and initially they gave us a room overlooking the wall, which was really unpleasant. We went down to the reception and they changed our room, then there was a problem with no hot water and then the heating didn't work. They moved us to another room that night. We moved a few rooms. This time the room was perfect. They gave us a late check-in that helped us with the process. Overall, the staff was attentive. The area

Incredibly rude staff at reception, who mishandled the booking, hung up on the phone, and were then rude in person. Refused both a change in booking or refund. Then refused to tell us their names. Eventually scribbled down “Raheel”, who claimed to be front desk manager, no surname. Will not be returning to this Westin.
