Exceptional
I’ve never given any hotel a 10 out of 10 in my life — until now. This place is truly exceptional. From the spotless cleanliness and unbeatable location to the incredible attention to detail, everything was just perfect. The suite had everything you could possibly need — nothing was missing. I stayed in a Management Suite, one of their larger rooms, which made the experience even better.
If you’re visiting Berlin as a tourist, don’t think twice — this hotel is in a very central area, with a metro station right below and plenty of great restaurants nearby and most importantly a 24/7 supermarket

The design of the rooms was lovely. Spacious (though we didn’t quite get the room we thought we were getting), modern, and more than comfortable. Well located if you’re doing business in the area, and close enough to the bus stop, but the area catered to a business crowd, and many shops and restaurants closed early. We would go back as it was very convenient and beautiful with a terrace overlook an interior square and a very sleek kitchen area. Also…they let us use the laundry facilities, definite bonus!
The gentleman at check in told us that breakfast was included. Breakfast is on the top floor with a lovely view and is a very good buffet. But apparently it wasn’t included and it was an additional €30 per day or per person a day, whatever it was, we would never have gone for the price. Be careful and review your reservation, don’t trust what they tell you at check in.

We loved our room, the Superior suite with an outside balcony. Room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having the kitchen as well. The Spa was perfect as we were here for the Berlin MArathon. Breakfast buffet was terrific. The reception staff, Matthew and the Thai gentleman, were both very helpful during our 8 day stay. We love the location as it was close to many good attractions and to the start and finish of the Berlin Marathon.
The bed mattress was not very comfortable. We stay at a lot of top line hotels worldwide and like a firm mattress, but one that is giving as well. This mattress was too rigid we felt. Our A/C in living room leaked water after our 2nd day and the manager in lounge, Thai gentleman, arranged for repairs the next day. I felt the prices were quite high but believe this was due to Berlin Marathon.

The hotel is very convenient to the center of Berlin and a U-station is steps away from one of the side entrances. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. They offer free laundry facilities on site. The breakfast buffet was very good with coffee made to order.
I wish the suite had a full-sized couch rather than a 2-seat couch.

The suites are large, pleasant and extremely well appointed. It's quiet on the rooms, and the aircons work well. Basically, these are 5-star hotel suites with the added bonus of full kitchens. The staff are great. Friendly, efficient, helpful. Considering the location and what you get, this place is really an awesome value.
The only reason why I give this place 9, not 10 stars, is that I was initially booked into a suite directly next to an elevator. Which frequently rumbled enough to prevent me from sleeping. I suppose some guests might not care but surely many do. You ask me, this should simply not be done. I was transferred into a different suite so problem was solved. But what if the place had been fully booked? Other than that, very minor gripes... The breakfast buffet was sufficient but not exactly very diverse. And the gym had the usual issue of not being designed for resistance training. Mostly cardio machines with a lonely free weight rack (up to 15kg) and a bench or two. No multi-rack for squats and cable drills. Again, these are very minor gripes. No reason to deduct any points from the overall verdict.

very pleasant stay at mandala suites. it’s truly a home away from home. super clean, apartment-style hotel with a touch of luxury and a fantastic location. absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back next time i’m in berlin.

Very impressive! Roomy, clean, modern, comfortable bed, great location, free access to laundry room, nearby restaurants and supermarkets—the works! The north-south and east-west U line stations are just outside. Easy walking (for avid walkers) to most all of the major sites. Nearby train station to go to Potsdam.
