lots to like about this facility: -unit was large (we had the 2nd floor Marionette unit) -plug in beside the bed (both sides) -small vanity in bedroom to sit and wash your face or put on makeup -sitting area in the bedroom to enjoy a coffee -kitchen was decent, but no basics (no sugar or salt/pepper) -small on site restaurant for breakfast/lunch or drinks - good vibe but quite expensive -staff was friendly and helpful -quiet at night if windows were closed -bathroom large by European standards, and shower was awesome -strong WIFI - streaming was excellent -excellent proximity to transit (tram is literally steps from the front door) - we came from the main train station with our luggage, no issue on the tram system
some items to be aware of when booking: -no AC - so its SUPER hot in the summer (we were here late May 2026 and it was 30 degrees) -windows have no screens and there are large spider webs outside windowsills, so open at your own risk -no luggage racks - NOTE to owner - your an AIRBNB/hotel for gosh sakes, provide 2 luggage racks (cheap on Amazon) for guests to layout their luggage so they don't have to open them on the floor -no freezer in the unit for ice - and again, when its super hot out, ice is nice to have for water or drinks- had to go to the restaurant or the front desk each time I filled up my water bottle, super inconvienent (for me and for them as well) -very steep staircase with no lift (our room was on the 2nd floor, so two set of steep steps to maneuver) -lighting inside the unit was poor - the unit is inside the courtyard, so while lots of windows, the light does not get in good and the lights in the unit are weak or not located where needed (example, small light by vanity desk, but so weak it didn't kick off any light at all) -quiet at night with windows closed, but with them open, super noisy due to area (and with NO AC, the windows are your only chance of cooling down) -restaurant downstairs while quaint, was super expensive -area is interesting - tram is literally steps from the front door - but so are people who are passed out laying on the sidewalk (drunk or stoned)...you have to step over or around them some days to get into the hotel

This is a nice property with a lot of personality, in a convenient location in the city. It's about a ten minute walk from the nearest train station, which was helpful. The staff were very nice and helpful. They even printed our train tickets for us.

The breakfast was excellent and the location, near the underground and trams, made accessing city sites fairly easy. The staff gave excellent advice on where to go and how best to get there.
